Stopped by Yummy Botana yesterday evening (for the first time) on a whim because we wanted some esquites to go with dinner. I was pretty blown away with how pleasant the staff were! I wish I would’ve caught the young lady’s name, but she was so nice! I ordered two cups of esquites and a slice of flan. While the esquites were top notch…y’all. THE FLAN. It was so delicious! Fast forward to today and I convinced my coworker to try something from there so I could have a reason to go back. Collectively, we ordered more esquites, fresas con crema (strawberries and cream…that cream!!), and watermelon sorbet. Typically they put tamarind candies and tajin on the sorbet but I just wanted to try it on its own. Everything was soooo good!! And I had to have a crocheted hanging plant because it’s too adorable! This will be my summer spot for sweet treats and fresh fruits! And...

Out riding on a Sunday and saw this place and googled it. Mexican snack place. Ice cream, street corn and a plethora of items I had never heard of. One of the reviews mentioned strawberries and cream. I asked about that and the nice young lady offered me a taste. It's a bunch of cut strawberries (pretty sure they were fresh) slathered in some sort of cream (similar to condensed milk???). It was tasty but expensive. Also picked up a caramel churro (there were several to choose from). Churros are weekends only. The churro was decent. One churro and one order of the strawberries and cream was a little over $10. Location is on a one way street so be aware you can't turn on from main drag. They have bottled...

This place is named appropriately. Yummy Botana (yummy snack) never disappoints. The paletas and ice cream are super flavorful and creamy. There are flavors for everyone to enjoy. The fruit in homemade creama is off the charts. I dream about this creama! Also try the mangonada with chamoy. The flavor combinations are magical. I plan to work my way through the entire line up of traditional Mexican snacks if I can stop eating the paletas. Service is fantastic and friendly. If you need explanations of what goes in each snack offering, the employees and owner are super nice and explain...
