Cava is a healthy Mediterranean restaurant, with a variety of good ingredients to choose from. Personally it reminded me of time in living in Europe some yrs ago!
We decided to grab some lunch today at this Cava location on Sunset Blvd in Lexington. They are located where the old Zoes used to be. I really wanted to see what all the hype was about. Parking lot full and a line almost out the door for weeks. Customer service was excellent, everyone was very patient while we decided on what to order. We ordered two different bowls, everything tasted truly delicious. All the ingredients were freshly made. You have a variety of choices to create a bowl or wrap. Lots of choices for rice, beans, veggies and meats, hummus and sauces to choose from. Honestly I could have gotten my bowl without meat, all the food was seasoned well. Im in love with the black yummy lentils! We decided to get our orders to go because due to the line being so long. This was our second attempt to eat here. I liked that the menu was not hecka long, it was fairly simple. They do have fresh juices as well, maybe next time I will try one.
Tip: You will have to time this right to avoid the crowds, I went approx 1pm on a Tuesday. My wait time was approx 10min, which wasnt bad at all.
I will be back in the future to try something...
Read moreFresh Flavors in a Familiar Spot It's great to see a new life breathed into the former Zoe's Kitchen, and the Cava team has done a fantastic job with the fresh, clean remodel. The moment you walk in, you feel like you're in a completely new space with a great atmosphere. The food is the real highlight here. The customizable bowls and wraps are made right in front of you, with a wide array of incredibly fresh ingredients to choose from. It’s exactly the kind of fast, healthy, and delicious meal you want when you’re looking for something that’s not typical fast food. You order at the counter, and you can either grab a table or take your meal to go. Covered patio area is also available if you prefer. Trays and trash are placed in the receptical area as you leave. Service was efficient and good overall, but it lacked a bit of that genuinely warm and welcoming feeling you hope for. It was early dinner time, so they were starting to get busy, and a few tables could have used a quick wipe-down, though the rest of the restaurant was clean and well-kept. Overall, Cava is a great addition to the area. It’s a solid 4-star experience, offering fresh, healthy food in a clean, modern setting. With just a little more attention to service and table maintenance, it would easily be a five-star spot. I'll definitely be back to try...
Read moreCame to this store yesterday- have come many times before - with a pickup order with 3 bowls and 1 pita.
The drive through door was opened by one individual first who did ask our name. The door shut and this person was never to be seen again. We were then asked by another individual our name and they were gone for a bit as well. This individual did not say hello, they just opened the door and we said our name.
Finally we get our food and are missing three of the dips on our food.
We circle around to ask for these sauces or if they are potentially out of them. Another person who was helping us, requests to take our food is taken back through the window (weird to me).
They volunteer to check the food but first say “well it wasn’t me”. I understand the principle of saying this but we were not being argumentative just asking.
Finally we get our sauces and all is well. No “have a nice day” or “we’re sorry about that”.
My recommendations greeting people at the window and asking if they’ve already been helped (not disappearing) Checking that bowls are made correctly not taking food back through the drive through window not making smart comments like “it wasn’t me” but instead “I’m so sorry let me fix that for you”
The food is good as always but Sheesh we need...
