This was my racial experience in South Carolina and worst experience ever at a fast-food restaurant. First, when placing my order, I had to repeat it twice because the young lady was not paying attention. Then she did not greet me at the window. She only informed me of my total. After I paid, she handed me a drink without a straw and then went to grab my order. I had to ask for ketchup and discovered on my way home that she failed to give me napkins also. When I got home to eat, I discovered that I was given a dry, burnt chicken sandwich. I decided to go back to the restaurant and called the location several times on my way back, but no one answered the phone. When I got back to the drive-thru window, a young Caucasian woman was there and walked away as if I wasn't there. I assumed she went to get the manager, only to see the young Caucasian woman who served me peek around the corner at the window. They left me sitting there for 10 minutes despite my attempts to get their attention by honking the horn and tapping on the drive-thru window. Then a young African American comes to the window as if he was informed, I was there. I asked if he was the manager and informed me that he wasn't, I informed him that I wanted to speak to his manager. He goes to the back only to return and tell me that they were closed, and the manager was locked in the office counting money and could not come to the window. I informed him what happened and asked him to go get his manager. He left again, only to return to the front and proceed to cleaning the restaurant. They ignored the fact that I was still sitting there waiting for the manager. After 15 minutes pass by, one of the ladies comes back to the window and informed me to leave or they would call the cops. I informed her that I was waiting for the manager and that I had no problem with her calling the cops. Instead of calling the cops, this time she gets the young man again, who returns to the window and says are you just going to sit here all night. I reminded him that he was supposed to be getting his manager, to which he replied I told you she is locked in the office counting money. I informed him that I wish to speak with and share my experience and show her the food I was served. He answered with you just have to come back tomorrow. I told him I was okay with coming back tomorrow but not until the manager had my name and contact information. He states she is locked in the office again and closes the window and walks off to the back again. I realized at this point that the manager was afraid to come to the window which led me to believe she already knew what happened prior to me returning. At this point I believe I had purposely been given the food and now they were afraid to address and kept sending the African American young man to the window. He returned with a paper and pen to take down my information. I informed them I would be escalating the matter. The customer service was extremely poor and the fact that only the African American young man was sent to the window to address me leads me to believe something had been done to my food on purpose. I have never been one to complain nor write reviews, but the disrespect that I received tonight was...
Read moreThis trip to Bojangles was definitely an interesting one. To sum it up, they earned four stars after an otherwise terrible experience. If you want the details, read on :
We visited the drive thru and ordered two chicken Supreme snacks, one large fries, and a three piece two thighs and a leg combo, with three thighs instead of the leg. So far so good. A moment later, the order-taker came over the speaker to let us know that they were out of thighs, but they cook in 8 minutes. We said we would gladly wait, and we moved forward to pay for our food.
They took our payment as normal, then asked us to pull forward to the end of the handrail area and they'd bring out the food. Literally 25 minutes later if sitting at the door waiting for our food, my wife decided to call the store. Please note, we would have just walked in to check, but the doors are kept locked and we wouldn't want to go in and require them to clean behind us anyway.
Anyway, they apologized and made it clear that they didn't even start breading the chicken when we had ordered it. Meaning they had to bread it, then fry it, hence the wait. She then said it would be out momentarily, and it was.
We drove back to our workplace only to realize that our fries weren't included in the order. I decided to drive back and gave them a call when I arrived and they brought the fries out to the wrong side of the store. About three minutes later 👀 they realized I was at the main entrance and delivered me two large fries (we paid for one)..
They apologized for the poor experience, and went back inside.
So yeah, a bad experience, but they did what they could to make it better and we will certainly go back to give them another chance. If the ordering continues to be an issue, we will of course update our rating.. For...
Read moreI want to start by day my review is of this location not Bojangles as a whole
On Friday 11/22 we came to Bojangles’ for a family meal to take home. We bought the 12pice super tailgate for dinner. We got home and opened it to find we were missing part of our meal. No big deal we can just call the store and let them know. The phone was off the hook all night long we couldn’t get through to them. We called the district manager Tina Felder who called me back a couple days later. I let her know what had happened she apologized and said since we were only missing part of the meal she would replace the meal of a smaller size of an 8 piece (my family didn’t get smaller) but ok that’s fine. I go there tonight to get it a nice easy pre thanksgiving dinner and they said they are only replacing 8 pieces of chicken and the biscuits not the sides. I said I can pay an up charge to the 12 pc they tried to charge me for almost the whole deal by ringing everything up separately the difference should have only been about 10 they are trying to charge me 18 not customer Friendly I called Tina and spoke with her and let her know what was going on and she didn’t care she now said all she was replacing was the chicken she was not very nice and the manager I believe jmilla Jones wasn’t any better. They did have good employees in the restaurant who were polite and helpful but stayed out of the details by the name of faith very nice girl. The manager and dm need to be replaced!! I was willing to accept that they were only giving us an 8 PC meal instead of the 12 pc I was willing to pay the difference but they didn’t care they jammila jones and Tina Felder were rude and made it clear they didn’t want my family’s Buisness at this...
