If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s both delicious and entertaining, Sukiya Japanese Steakhouse is the place to be. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted by the rich, inviting aromas of sizzling meats and savory sauces, and the lively sounds of chefs masterfully working the hibachi grills. Sukiya isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience that leaves you full, happy, and eager to return.
The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between upscale dining and relaxed comfort. Whether you’re seated at a traditional table or at the hibachi grill, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s an ideal spot for special occasions like birthdays, family dinners, or even casual date nights.
Now, let’s talk about the food — because it’s the true star of the show. The menu at Sukiya offers a wide variety of Japanese dishes, from expertly prepared sushi rolls to hearty hibachi dinners cooked right in front of you. The hibachi experience is something truly special. The chefs are not only incredibly skilled in their craft but also know how to entertain, with tricks like flaming onion volcanoes, flying shrimp tails, and impressive knife work. They engage the table with jokes and playful banter, making each meal feel personal and memorable.
I highly recommend the hibachi steak and shrimp combo — the steak is always cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the shrimp is juicy and perfectly seasoned. The fried rice, made fresh on the grill with eggs, vegetables, and a touch of soy sauce, is some of the best I’ve ever had. The vegetables are crisp and lightly charred, adding a wonderful texture and flavor to the plate. Every meal comes with a fresh salad, served with their signature ginger dressing, and a warm bowl of miso soup — both simple, comforting, and a perfect start to the meal.
Their sushi menu is equally impressive. Fresh, high-quality fish, creative rolls, and beautifully presented platters make it a great option even if you’re not sitting at the hibachi grill. The Spicy Tuna Roll and Dragon Roll are personal favorites — flavorful, fresh, and well-balanced.
Service at Sukiya is consistently top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely cares about the dining experience. Drinks are refilled promptly, requests are handled with a smile, and the entire team works seamlessly to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers repeat customers and makes an effort to create a personal connection.
The pricing is very fair for the quality of food, portion sizes, and the entertainment value you receive. It’s one of those places where you truly feel like you’re getting your money’s worth — leaving satisfied, both with the meal and the experience.
To sum it up, Sukiya Japanese Steakhouse delivers on every front: flavorful, freshly prepared dishes, talented and entertaining chefs, excellent customer service, and a warm, lively atmosphere. It’s a place that turns an ordinary meal into an event and leaves you already planning your next visit.
Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great food, great people, and a little extra flair with...
Read moreBuy far the most Disgusting experience of eating out I have had in a long time. It was bad from start to finish. 1st off I ordered a tea for myself and my son and a soda for my other son and my husband. They brought everyone's drinks except for mine I had to reorder it again.
We then ordered the gyoza appetizer and some sushi. The gyoza was so pugnant we couldn't even identify the meat inside, needless to say we returned it. The sushi was ok, but had a stange beer like smell to it.
Then comes dinner. Now out of the whole family my order was the most messed up. I ordered steak and shrimp with ginger salad dressing on the side.
My salad came smothered in the dressing and not on the side. They also put me down for steak and chicken not steak and shrimp.
As the food was cooking i noticed the chef touching the raw chicken twice and then proceeded to use the same poker to move the veggies and shrimp around. Now perhapse things have changed since i last went out but i dont think thats ok.
The rice on all of our plates had so much pepper flakes on them it was too hot for my children to eat. That rice also had a similar beer like smell to it too.
Now for some strange reason the chef cooked literally everyones meal at the table nd thenbrought out a seperate tray and cooked mine. Which i dont understand at all since many of us at the table got steak and it was all ordered the same cook temp. Finally get the veggies, they of course are under cooked. The mushrooms were raw it was hard to bite through them.
The noodles had been sautéed in a sauce that was just a strong and off putting.
Needless to say my husband took our littlest oneout while my eldest and i stayed behind to pay. We didnt wait for the chef to finish cleaning before getting the check.
None of us took any boxes and left full plates behind. Not once were we asked why we refused togo boxes owhy our food went mostly untouched.
I didnt shout or demand money off. I just wanted out as fast as i could because the smell was enough to make us leave. 148 dollars down the drain.
0 out of 10. I dont recommend here to anyone who appreciates good hibachi food.
Heres to praying my family dont get...
Read moreMisleading sushi, underwhelming "steak", and tasteless lobster. For a place that calls itself a "steak house" and has a full sushi menu I expected a lot more. First I ordered a filet minion, in this case med-rare expecting what I ordered. Instead I received a plate of cut up pieces of steak, cooked well done, as if being served to a child. This is not a steak, this is cut up beef tips. At this rate I can't even be sure it was a filet Mignon cut. Anyway they sent me out a new uncut up one and it was rare all the way through, not med-rare. It was also flat and looked more like a sirloin. Onto the sushi - I ordered the most expensive roll on the menu - the house roll ! the Sukiya roll. From the menu "Losbter Tempura, Mango, Asparagus, topped with Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Tobiko, with Chef Special Sauce". (yes, LOBSTER is spelled wrong on the website menu) .Now you would think this thing was laden with lobster and fish for 20$ right ? Wrong. One little strip is lobster throughout ( it really could have been shrimp tempura it was so small) and one tiny piece of fish on each of the 8 pieces. I expected a lot more meat for 20$ but again, it was mostly asparagus and mango. And finally the lobster tail. Think about lobster tail and what comes to mind ? A Full tail of lobster. Sauteed, steamed, etc, with the shell still on and the meat intact. Sadly, once again this is not what I received. Instead I was served a few small bit size pieces of lobster that looked like they had been fried in teriyaki or some other sauce, already cut up , and just laid inside an old shell. It was obvious there was nowhere near the amount of meat there would have been if I had been served the thing I ordered - a lobster tail. And of course the pieces just tasted like teriyaki or whatever soy sauce it was cooked in - couldn't even taste the lobster. I was extremely disappointed by all three items and if you have any experience with good steak, sushi, or lobster, I would not come to this restaurant and if you do - massively lower your expectations. The waitress was nice and the atmosphere jovial, but honestly I should have returned all three items instead of...
