Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in South Carolina

I placed and order through DD. And while I understand it is delivery and that's runs the risk of food not be nice and hot, not only was my food in a hot bad but it was also at my door 30 mins after I placed the order. Yet my fries were cold and stale. I'm fairly certain they were at least a day old and just reheated. The "cheese" sauce is fake plastic cheese. It had nearly hardened and congealed to fries together. Could literally but the clump of fries up by a couple fries because they were are stuck together. The burger was nothing like the picture or description. The patties are not cooked to order. I requested medium rare and it was well done if not more lol. They also had little to no seasoning. Suppose to be topped with spice bacon. Got one skimpy piece of bacon. Seriously, it was so tiny and thin and not spicy at all. Suppose to be cheese sauce on it, but there was none. Which I guess is a good thing since it's fake plastic cheese. Was suppose to have jalapenos. Had one little jalapeno and maybe half a teaspoon of the chipotle mayo. Ate about 2/3 of the burger and only a few fries. An hour later my stomach was churning. 3 hours later I'm hunched over a toilet, my "dinner" coming back up. So, fake cheese. Lacking items. Cold food. Old and stale fries. And I got sick from this food. Won't be back and won't recommend.

Update: I was unable to work today because I couldn't stay out of the bathroom. $350 lost! Was feeling a tad better and decided to go see a movie. Nope. Just had to walk out. The manager called me to talk and asked what he could do. Not really anything you can do unless you want to reimburse me for lost wages due to food poisoning...

I ordered for pick up online for my family of 5. Everything was delicious! The burgers were fresh, you could tell it’s not frozen meet. My husband got the cheesy burger, basically a grilled cheese burger. He raved about it. I got the steakhouse burger. That A1 sauce soaks in well. My oldest got the bourbon bacon burger. All the burgers were full of flavor and super juicy. My little guy had the cheese burger kids meal. He devoured it. The kids meal is well worth the price, very comparable to fast food kid meal prices but wayyy better quality. My middle child ordered the cheese steak and was very happy with it. We shared cheese curds and let’s just say you can tell they are made fresh. So good! My husband particularly loved the spicy cheese curds! We ordered the full size chili cheese fries and it was huge! It was very tasty. Beware if you have picky eaters like me, there are tiny onions and peppers in there. Lastly the shakes. Man, they are amazing! We tried three different flavors and each one of us were impressed. No artificial flavor. Overall, this place was amazing. The staff was super friendly and hard at work. I didn’t have to wait long once i arrived for my order. The restaurant was well kept and very clean inside. Plenty of seating available and I’m pretty sure I saw high chairs. The quality of the ingredients, how fresh everything was and the fact it held up fine on my 20 minute drive home made this a 5 star experience. I’m so glad we found this hidden gem! Not bad. No greeting when I came in and the staff was a little disoriented talking about who was and were not clocked in. Once that was over my order was took. I ordered the Double Bacon Burger, fries, and a Coke (they have Coke products). They took my name and gave me my drink. The burger was good and tasty. The meat wasn't heavily seasoned which was good because you get to taste the other items on the burger. Thee fries was just ok. Bigger than Smashburgers fries. Think Burger King size fries... Nothing special about them. I wasn't checked on the whole time I sat there. One of the waitress came to straightened up the table items (ketchup, mustard, salt & pepper) and then took my empty tray for me afterwards. I went to the bathroom to check it out and it was very clean (new place so it should be right). On the way out that same waitress thanked me for coming and said come again...

To be honest, this place is pretty much just like Smashburgers but cheaper prices. I paid $12.51 for what I ordered. Smashburgers would have been more. Same type of setup with the menu on the wall at the register... I will check it out again. The burger was good and looked like what was advertised. I just wish that SOMEBODY would come up with a bun that would hold all that burger goodness together without coming apart as you eat it. Let me know what your experience with this...
