DoubleH BBQ — Restaurant in Lexington

Of all the places I’ve had BBQ, double h would tie for first. I saw their menu online, made a call in order, and had an easy and fast pickup. I got a lunch deal with a Chicken sandwich, two sides and a drink. I chose two sauces, never having eaten here, and got the mild bbq and bama white sauce. First, I don’t know what heavenly deity they stole their sweet potato fry recipe from, but wow, those were the best I have ever had. Personally, wasn’t a fan of the jacked Mac and cheese, but that was me, not a failing on double h. The sandwich was amazing and I wound up going open faced style so I could have both sauces on one sandwich. Very impressed, so you should Definitely try double h, I know...

Smoked meatloaf is outrageous....just wish it was available every day. How about the smoked corned beef brisket, ok that would make it pastrami...nobody else doing this...again just outrageous. wings....mmmmm! Smoke is just perfect in every category. Sides are good. Waiting for the collards to be available. This place is just thumping with lots of energy and is just so smoking' good. Looks like my western Ky. BBQ places, yeah, so, so perfect. Great menu, but I know Ernie can do collards, and I love collards. It has become a legendary place...

I went to DoubleH BBQ recently when I was craving a pulled pork sandwich. I found this restaurant via google search of BBQ near me. The google rating was high so I was excited to give it a try. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The service was great but the food was some of the worst BBQ I have tried. Maybe they were having an off day. The pulled pork was dried out and the overall seasoning of everything from sides to sauce was off. Either there was not enough salt, too much salt, or overly sweet. Definitely, better BBQ options...
