Placed a to go order through DoorDash for pickup on Cinco De Mayo. When I went in, my coworker was there and he had went in and ordered and had been waiting 40 mins for his order along with two other people. I ordered at 7:50, they close at 9. I showed the girls up front my order and that it was DD and they just nodded their heads and continued to work. My coworker and another woman who had been waiting got their order. There was another guy there, but he ended up leaving. Another girl shortly after me came in and had a DD order and showed them and they didnt acknowledge it at all. 8:45 rolls around and a guy reassures us our food should be up shortly and then immediatley after a girl up front basically says we should just cancel our orders and leave and they can give our food to someone else because she doesnt know how long it'll be. The other girl after me left shortly after. A woman walks in at 8:50 saying she called in an order. The girl said she didnt know how much longer it would be and the woman said she called it in 30 mins ago. The girl then went to check and told her 10-15 mins. I then just stared at her because I had been waiting an hour at this point. She finally comes up to me and basically says the kitchen is making DD orders last priority and that I should just go ahead and leave. I said even if it was just a pickup order and she says yes. They close at 9, so I'm sure she was trying to get me out considering I still didn't have my food. It was all very unprofessional and an hour of my time wasted. I understand they were busy, but if that was the case, they should have shut off DoorDash or told me when I got there I wasnt going to be able to get my food instead of having me wait an hour with no updates. I love this place, but based off this experience I am not sure I will go back. Better off taking your business to Viva...

From the moment we walked into this Mexican restaurant, we knew we were in for something special. It was an absolute gem, easily the best Mexican dining experience we've ever had.
Let's start with the steak. Wow. The steak was hands down the best we've ever had. It was perfectly seasoned, cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Each bite melted in your mouth, and the char on the outside added a wonderful depth to every piece. This was no ordinary steak; it was a true standout in an already stellar meal.
The service was equally exceptional. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. They made us feel like we were the only ones there, offering thoughtful suggestions and ensuring we were taken care of throughout the meal. The pace of the meal was perfect, and they went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.
As for the sides, the rice and beans were beyond spectacular. The rice was light and fluffy, with just the right amount of seasoning, and the beans were rich, flavorful, and creamy—clearly made with care. These small touches really elevated the whole meal, showing just how much attention to detail went into every dish.
All in all, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of incredible steak, flawless service, and exceptional sides made this meal an unforgettable one. We can’t...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday. We have a usual Mexican restaurant that we love but this restaurant had higher google ratings so we decided to give it a try. We were glad we tried it, but won’t be back. The service was great, almost too great. Throughout our 50 minute visit we had five different people visit the table and most of them visited at least two times. It is great to work as a team and they did that wonderfully. However, the number of times they stopped by was almost intrusive. I will say that we were there at a very off time so they were pretty dead. The staff may have been trying to stay busy.
The food was good but I have had better Mexican food. Most of the prices were super reasonable, there were some exceptions. I ordered the carne asada jalisco, which was one of those exceptions. I have had this at other restaurants and unfortunately it did not compare. Almost all Mexican restaurants I have been too cut the meat into strips. Steak is hard to cut with a butter knife. Also, the bacon in the dish was just cooked and placed on the top of the meal. Other restaurants incorporate the bacon into the cooking process to add flavor.
I wouldn’t highly recommend but you should give it a try as others seemed to have better...
