Went into Firehouse subs this evening to get a sub (7:30ish) Restaurant was not busy, 3 male employees, and two other couples (customers) in at the time (1 seated eating while other was waiting on subs). After ordering, I waited and watched as 5 other people came in and ordered after me. I waited more than 25+ min. for a medium Cajun chicken sub. When my order was ready, I grabbed my sub and left. As I left, I thought….wow this bag seems awfully light but I truly didn’t give it a second thought. Man, I truly should have, got home, opened my sub and what a disappointment. There is nothing on this sub, a few pieces of chicken (doesn’t cover whole sub and a little lettuce and mayo. I asked that tomato be added, nope absolutely no tomato. If this is what your subs look on a regular basis, I highly doubt I’ll be back and I can’t imagine you having many repeat customers, especially after waiting 25+ minutes while employees seemed to be standing around watching one person. I really hoped for more. Firehouse do better for your customers!!

We placed our order ahead of time and arrived after the estimated pickup time. The employee explained he was working alone and running behind, which I understood, so I said I’d wait in the car. After another 15 minutes, I went back in only to learn the order still hadn’t been started. A second employee eventually arrived and began helping. The restaurant itself was messy and unorganized, so I waited outside again until I saw the order placed on the pickup rack. When I got home and gave my wife her sandwich, we discovered it had been made with no meat at all. We’re regular Firehouse Subs customers and usually enjoy the food and service, but this location fell far below the standards we’ve come to expect.

Trying to reason with myself how this is a $20 sandwich. The meat and cheese doesn’t even fit the bread. And I chose no pickle, because my son can’t have pickles, and it came with a pickle, soaked into the sandwich. So it is trash. This does not represent what Firehouse normally is. Unacceptable that they sent this out for delivery.

Not sure what happened with this location but the quality of service has fallen well beyond expectation. Let me start by saying I completely understand times are rough for employers currently however….there is no excuse for poor customer service from more than 1 staff member. I Placed an online order and had a wait time of roughly 25 min- no biggie. Arrived just a few minutes earlier than the time we were promised and were never greeted or acknowledged when we walked in by any of the employees who where just standing around looking as if they had nothing else to do. When one finally asked if she could help, we were told it was still going to be ā€œa good whileā€ for our order to be ready. Well it was about 15 min after the promised time when we finally got our food, meanwhile the frustration level of other customers who had come in while we waited could be felt and seen as the staff barely acknowledged that anyone else was in the building besides themselves. Given the lack of care the staff seemed to have, our order was correct surprisingly. Had it not been right I would have rather asked for a refund than a corrected meal given the level of attitude the staff exhibited when they did acknowledge the customers, it was obvious the customers were an inconvenience to them. I have never had any issues with this location and everything has always been great so it’s highly disappointing that I’m even having to leave...

This is quite possibly the worst Firehouse Sub I have ever been to! I walked in and saw a few people waiting and didn’t think much of it. I ordered at 3:38 for 2 subs, 1 large steamer and 1 medium Italian. Nothing special. 30 minutes of waiting. During this time, 2 delivery people came in and got their sandwiches, 1 young lady ordered and then 2 young men. 2 sandwiches should never take that long. They put an order up and yelled out the young ladies name that was ordered after me. And then they called out the two young men’s names that ordered after me as well. I got up and went to the counter and asked for my sandwiches where, and they told me that they were still working on them after they had just dished out seven sandwiches, while I was waiting on my two. I still waited another five minutes before I got my sandwiches for a total of 35 minutes. This is the worst run firehouse subs that I’ve ever been to, and I will never be coming back here again. The one in Irmo is so much better and worth the drive. The manager was standing right there when all of this was happening and all he could tell me was that he was sorry and I could grab a bag of chips if I wanted on my way out. i’m sorry but a bag of chips does not compensate me waiting 35 minutes for two sandwiches. please don’t ever come to this establishment as this is not the first time I have encountered a...
