This place really disappointed my group of people. It was our first time visiting and we will not be returning. The customer service was AWFUL. The person who took our order seemed very annoyed. The customer before us ordered something and she wanted it for sit down and was told it couldn’t be changed because it was already put in as Togo… even though she wasn’t even done paying! Two people from my group got a side of chips, one was not told about them and the second person was told to “you can go grab them from by the door”. Coffee menu is not updated online, so we went in expecting something they were no longer serving… that’s okay but disappointing. The coffee we did get was good. Two of the coffees came in glass cups and the other two came in Togo cups. It was pricey, which is okay. But the food was very lackluster. I got avacado toast which was cold by the time it came out. We waited for food for about 30-40 minutes. When we went to leave, we didn’t know where to put our trays so we stacked them nicely on the table. One of the employees told us something which we didn’t hear and when we looked at her confused she looked very aggravated and said we could take our trays to the person collecting them PLEASE! It’s not what she requested of us but the tone at which it was said was like we were inconveniencing everybody intentionally. As I said it was our first time there and didn’t know how things worked. Overall I just don’t understand the pricing (we paid over $80 overall for 2 things of toasts, and 2 sandwiches and coffees) or how things worked, but I would never make a customer grab their own side from the other side of the restaurant, or make them clean off their table when they have someone going around doing it anyways. Won’t be returning which is unfortunate because the restaurant is nicely decorated and has...
Read moreStopped by around 10a on a Saturday morning. Not too many people there, but a few came in after us. We ordered a coffee drink and tea, along with two pastries from a very friendly older gentleman, and were told our order would be brought to us. We took a seat outside and waited. After about 10 minutes, I decided to check on our order. I walked in to see my coffee sitting on the counter, so I asked the barista if it was mine. He said it was and that the tea had a few more minutes to steep so I offered to take them both out to our table. My coffee was lukewarm at this point, not sure how long it had been sitting. I waited a few more minutes and went back inside to check on the pastries that simply needed to be pulled from the case. By this point, more people had come and it seemed a bit chaotic inside. After a couple minutes of me standing there, a woman at the register asked if I was waiting on something (seemingly annoyed). I indicated I was still waiting on my pastries (now for close to 20 minutes), and she asked my name. She asked my name and said she would heat one of the pastries and would bring them out. First, she selected the wrong item, which the friendly gentleman who took our order had gotten wrong. But true to her word, she came out a few minutes later with both pastries, neither of which was warm. I’m not sure if they normally have more staff, but they were clearly not able to keep up with the demand. Unfortunately, the pastries and lukewarm coffee were a bit of a disappointment. The place is very charming and has a wonderful atmosphere, inside and out, but not sure it’s enough to...
Read moreI love to try random dining/beverage establishments because, on occasion, I stumble upon a real gem. Let me tell you: The Hangar Provisions isn't just a gem, but a diamond. As you can see from the pictures, the establishment is exceedingly clean and the decor is soothing, natural, and comfy. In fact, the beauty of the Hangar's design is that it's a great place to go on a date or to simply grab a smoothie. Speaking of smoothies, I ordered the Minty Marvel, and it's an absolute winner: the freshness of the mint combines perfectly with the banana, kale, and other ingredients. In fact, it's so delicious that I can't wait to try the rest of the smoothies on the menu (I plan to just go down the list on the menu until I have had them all, then I will return to the top of the menu and cycle through them again). Of course, I would be remiss if I didn't sing the praises of Victoria, who is the business owner and has an infectious energy/positivity that instantly makes anyone who visits The Hangar Provisions into a repeat customer. Take my advice and go to The Hangar Provisions to grab a bite to eat, a smoothie, or a variety of espresso and tea drinks; or, simply go to visit Victoria... either way, you come...
