Unfortunately, a terrible service experience. The place was busy, food was slow coming out. It happens.
After 30 minutes, we asked, and the sever apologized and told us the kitchen was backed up because of “night shift” change.
Another 20 minutes pass, we inquire again. Server again blames the kitchen and alap implies the table next to us caused it because they sent their food back for being undercooked. So we asked her to go back and look at the tickets to see how long it will be. After more waiting, the manager comes out, and tells us the server didn’t hit “send” on the order. I replied, your server blamed it on the kitchen staff? But Manager Kevin says, no worries ladies, I’ll take care of you, your order is rushed. Glad you’re a restaurant manager and not EMS. Your definition of “rush” and ours are completely different.
By this point, we’re waiting an hour for the food. It finally came. It was ok. My steak was overcooked but at this point, whatever.
Now, when a manager says, “I’ll take care of you,” it is a signal they intend to comp something on the ticket. Pretty customary response to improve a customer’s experience. A good manager apologizes, rushes the food, and comps drinks as a make-good, for example. When the bill came, not only did Kevin not “take care” of us, the server had served and charged the full price beer and not the beer special (which my mom had pointed to on the menu when she ordered). After we asked for the manager to come back, Kevin reduced the beer to the happy hour special price. But that’s it. He seemed very annoyed to have to do that.
Again, whatever at this point. One of you or both of you play fast and loose with the truth. We just want to go home.
I have NEVER not left a tip. EVER. Servers work hard, but it’s called gratuity for service. I was not grateful for the experience I had this evening.
It’s perfectly ok to make mistakes. It was busy, you are human. It’s not ok to lie about your mistake. Take responsibility. That’s Adulting.
To Manager Kevin, you did not take care of anyone tonight—not your customers and certainly not your server. You could’ve made the wait more palatable by 1) not being a snitch on your server and 2) giving two old ladies a couple of Miller Lites on the house. Being a hero wouldn’t have cost you anything....
Read moreWe've been here a couple of times over the past year. Sadly, we've had terrible service the last two times we've came to this establishment. We called early in the day with reservations for 12 people and were not told that they had any restrictions in place. When we arrived our party slowly came in and were seated at a 6 top. When our entire party showed up then the server proceeded to get the manager after being asked why they were there. We were told that due to covid they couldn't seat us all together. So we were left to figure out our own seating and the restaurant being pretty much empty. After ordering drinks it then took 30 minutes to actually get them (again we didn't order all at once). My drink was supposed to be on the rocks and was served warm and my girlfriends drink had a hair in it. We both then asked for water at the same time. I got mine after another 15 minutes and my girlfriends another 10 minutes later. They brought is bread to share but never gave us anything to cut it with and had to get silverware from our other friends table. After ordering food the the people eating at our table had to wait until half way through their actual entrees before they received the soup they had asked for as an appetizer. To top it all off when we were leaving my girlfriend used the bathroom (both were gross, paper towel wasn't even in the hand dispenser) and a server had come out of the stall wearing their apron. The food was good but again whenever we eat here our servers have hostile attitudes. Which is sad since we all are in the hospitality industry and understand if they are busy to give a little slack. But there was no reason for...
Read moreWent for lunch on wed August 6 2025 was told our steak was cooked wrong the first time and took an hour to get. Didn’t have Michelob ultra was on tab. They said they were out said they had to open two bottles for Texas tea, I watched Him and it was squirt squirt Coke to make a Texas tea. Second excuse was we are busy however 5 tables a 1 guy at the bar which the bartender was talking to. We Were full from appetizers and second round of bread before steak came out an hour and half after appetizers. Waited 30 minutes on second drink. Potato was cold the cheese wasn’t melted at all. Finally I asked the waitress if they were simply short handed and she said yes. Hmmm, honesty is the best policy was my response. I had to walk to the bar to find out where my drink was and was sarcastically told, we are busy. He walked away from the area and came back and Shazam my drink was made In 3 minutes. Splash, splash coke. We all know a med steak only takes 10 min to cook. Lies will get you nowhere. 85$ no tip! 20 minutes on a draft beer? 5 people seated to eat? I know this was a “I’m not doing anything today from everyone who worked that shift. The table was wet and full of dishes until I asked for the plates to be removed so we could have our steak. Had to ask for cocktail napkins as well. The last thing that was said when we were handed out receipt was “God Bless” now, how’s that gonna fix all the lies and excuses when a simple honest answer from the beginning would have been graciously accepted. Never eating there again so please don’t offer a...
