We had a party of 5 and just wanted a good dinner and Olive garden was not busy whatsoever, which we thought would be nice. However, we were very disappointed. We sat down and it took our server (Heather) at least 10-15 to even speak to us. After that we ordered a couple waters and cocktails, our waters came out pretty quickly but 2 cocktails took another 20 minutes. By the time we got the drinks our soups and salad had already came out, when my boyfriend started to look at his soup he saw the chicken was very pink. We brushed it off and thought our meals would be better, but when I got my food it was in a pound of grease and didn’t taste good, and my boyfriends shrimp alfredo came in a pool of water and the shrimp didn’t look or smell like they were good. I eventually tracked down our waitress after she disappeared and asked if we could have it remade, she apologized and said of course. Then after 35 minutes of waiting for his food she brings it out in a togo container and also brings the bill and asked for a card and takes my boyfriends card very quickly and walks away, when I start to look at the receipt I see that she charged us for 2 shrimp alfredo's and we only ordered one, one was taken off so technically we were only charged for one but after talking to her further she said her manager was taking the shrimp alfredo off all together and we didn’t have to pay for it, so I was confused. After I was asking her why we were still charged for it she couldn’t give a straight answer and told me “well I already swiped the card.” I was getting upset at this point but my boyfriend said it was fine and we left. This was some of the worst service I have ever received, I am also a waitress and know how hard it can be when the kitchens messes up and you get blamed so I was very kind until she started talking to me very...
Read moreI really had amazing service at Nicholasville RD Olive Garden tonight. I really wish I could remember the pretty blonde chick with 2 nose rings who was my server tonight so she could get some real recognition. She was so upbeat, smiley, sweet, and totally ensured I got everything I needed. It's hard to find nice servers sometimes who provide the kind of energy she did. I really would go back just to be her bff because she was just the kind of lovely, energetic feel I love being around. I know it's her job to be that way, but when other women do it, it comes off as fake and insincere. Her vibe was extremely radiant. None of the women I encountered tonight were anywhere near her attitude. The hostesses look like they hate their job, lol, but who wouldn't? You're a host, haha. No offense. We have all been there. But even so, she was unmatched. She felt real and almost made me wanna get drunk and chop it up with her all night long! (Spending more money at your establishment, haha) Not only that, but that soup Zuppa Tuscana was fireeeee 👌 It was less of a watery soup and more of a packed delight of all the ingredients. Most of the time, when I get a Zuppa Tuscana, it doesn't come as stuffed as this was. And that salad was godly as always. Breadsticks to die for. You know the typical Olive Garden experience. I only go to Olive Garden for unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks. It's the best deal and the yummiest. But my kids lovvvveeddd their huge three meatballs! The only thing I did not like about my experience was how extremely cold I was in the back of the restaurant. It was terrible. Ya'll keep penguins in the back or something? I couldn't enjoy my fantastic Strawberry Margarita without feeling like I was wearing a bikini in the...
Read moreFirst time at this restaurant and immediately when I walked in it is very dated and the smell isn’t that good (I believe the smell is from the very old atmosphere) the wait time was about 15 minutes (not bad) the waitress was absolutely awesome, but unfortunately the food and wait time was not! My wife ordered the Chicken & Shrimp Cabonare, it was very dry not sauce. Once she dug to the bottom of the plate, she found maybe a spoonful of sauce, this made the entree awful. I ordered the lasagna fritta, same thing it was brought to me without sauce. They must’ve been understaffed, because once my waitress had many tables she was working with, and by the time she finally got back to me and asked how everything was I told her how dry the food was, and I asked for more sauce by the time they brought the sauce back to me or food, was completely cold. Once again, not our waitresses fault because she had a lot of tables she was working with, but we had to wait for refills on our drinks and when you pay $3.50 for some ice tea (which you know, it only cost the restaurant $.05 and they charge us $3.49) it makes you a little upset because you should be able to get all the refills you want in a timely manner. I know in Florida (that’s where we’re from) the Olive Garden there which Orlando is 3x’s busier than Lexington, the managers take the time to go to each table to ask how the services & food is, this location does not do that. this the management gets a thumbs down from...
