VIP Fashion - Prom Dress Superstore — Local services in Lexington

Very cute that my daughters (21 & 17) were told to leave because they needed an adult when shopping for a prom dress and that review was deleted. It will be reposted and if you’d like to discuss you can contact me, not Google. This 1 star review is for you lack of professionalism when confronted by the reality of your management style.

Is this “policy, all minors must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian” posted at the entrance of your store?

What do you consider an adult?? Since you were told repeatedly on that day and the following day that there was an adult present and her age is 21 years old.

Have a great 2025 and you should seriously consider how you treat customers going forward if you’re unwilling to get the negative reviews. In your response below you also state that you are committed to a positive customer experience, does that include snatching dresses out of their hands and telling them “YOU NEED AND ADULT?” Interesting that you are saving face now after having my initial review taken down, in which I only gave a factual account of your interaction...

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would!! VIP has the biggest selection I have ever seen of dresses. The people who worked there are so friendly and welcoming and made me so much more confident and comfortable trying on dresses. I worked with Gracie and she was so helpful!! I’ve been to at least 6 different dress places for prom this year and have not liked any. VIP had such a big selection I tried on so many and I was stuck having to pick between 3 different dresses. But once I finally choose one and found the one Gracie was very helpful making sure I saw the finishing look with the corset done properly and just the way I wanted it.
