I went to the Taco Bell at 1970 Harrodsburg Rd, Lexington, KY 40503 on Sat Nov 19 2022 at approx 2am. I pulled up to the drive thru and was told that the store was only accepting mobile orders and door dash. I told them okay, and began to download the app. I asked the order taker of this was a new policy. She said that it was because they were understaffed and they cannot operate the register with only 3 people and that it was to get the orders out in a timley manner. She added in the next sentence that it will take 15 minutes for them to recieve the order after I place it and asked me to pull around. I asked if I could tell them the order I was about to place so that they could get started on it. She said no.
After being refused in my order attemp due to this utter ridiculous, I concluded that the staff did not want to work that evening because such a policy is so backwards, I have never seen it in the history of dining.
How does not operating the pos system deliver service "in a timely manner" but sitting there for 15 minutes while waiting for the app order to appear at the store is considered timely? It because it was a giant F U to the customers from the staff. That's why. I was not the only one they turned...

If that was true...fine, but we still wanted a refund, the kind manager asked if she could fix it for us and give us some extras, I hate being rude, i hate it... so I said yes, fresh food and some extras for the trips sounds nice and I would've accepted that. In my head I thought I didn't need to check my bag again because the manager was overseeing the process. We checked the bag the first time to account for our items but didn't realise what we had till we got home. We were missing 2 items beefy nacho grillers when we opened the bag at home. We Went back and got a refund. I know it can get hectic in fast food but come on. Manager was very nice and tried to fix it, But after the drive there and back twice and it be wrong both times this experience earns you a 2. I may update if I return to...
   Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. Went through drive-thru and the lady was extremely rude. Items were forgotten so I had to go back through. Just when you think she couldn't be even more rude, she proceeded to basically sling the items that were missing out the window. The freeze drinks were foam and she stated that's how they are supposed to be. Then proceeded to close the window on me. Opened it back when she noticed I wasn't moving. And told me to pull forward and they will bring a new flavor out to me. I waited 10 minutes in an empty drive thru and no replacements. I pulled back through and she said I would bring it out to you. I replied yeah that was 10 minutes ago. She then gave me foam drinks again and only filled them halfway. And basically tossed them out the window. So I'm now out 2 freeze drinks...
