R Place — Restaurant in Leyden Township

Horrible! Ordered through Ubereats and after going over my original delivery time by an hour and the driver telling me that they told them they were making my food, they cancelled my order. I chalked it up to a fluke through Ubereats but then I tried ordering through GrubHub and when I showed up this time as a pick up they had no knowledge of my order and we were told they lost their tablet for GrubHub orders. They called the owner and they said they turned off Grubhub but since I had my receipts they would honor my order. Unfortunately, we kept being told that they were "making our food". This continued for 45 minutes for a burger and a wrap. Horrible communication and manipulation. Also turn down the music...consistent reviews saying it was too loud...

the new owners have completely changed not only the atmosphere but the entire vibe! its extremely clean and welcoming, the food is delicious i hope the kitchen begins staying open later in the near future, the pretzel bites and smash burger are a must, the food prices are super reasonable, they have a really welcoming staff, i stopped in again this past friday and was served by Bianca and tyler, they did amazing keeping up with all the drink orders and both seemed like they were enjoying working together, both girls had larger then life personalities with infectious smiles, the dj this past friday wasnt that great but it didn’t take away from the food, drinks, atmosphere or time with friends, i really look forward to meeting with friends at r...

Just started coming here again after the change of ownership. Love it!! Drinks are the same everywhere ( a Coors is the same in every bar). However the service is awesome... But the hidden gem here is the food. You get 4 star food at 1 star price. The cook Tyler personally served me my burger, and polish (2 different days). With a smile. The burger was better than the one I got from RPM down town at 25% the price. This place has the best food made by a "cook" that truly cares about the output. I only know his name because I wanted to personally thank him for his hard work... Tyler is a godsend. He takes bar food to the level of 4 star restaurant quality, and with a smile. R place needs to hang on to this...
