White Castle — Restaurant in Leyden Township

I didn't know why but this White Castle is one of the most northern WC I can get to as all the others are closed. That said, I wonder if WC as a business is failing because it seems if the guys working here are not very motivated, just like the one in Elk Grove Village, where the crew that were here were worse.

That said, it took my food about 30 minutes to get made, I think they were running slow but with a ton of orders that were being queued up.

Probably my last time I'll be here, but the food was decently cooked. Interior decor was a bit worn looking - I think the franchise owner is crapping out on the upkeep. Bathrooms are available but has a keyed lock - need to ask the workers for it.

Plenty of parking, but it seemed to be kinda creepy, not this restaurant's fault, but the neighborhood in general

At least this place didn't stiff me from my food items as they got my order all correct, unlink the Taco Bell in North lake, which stiffed me they're nuggets.

I got my WC onion rings, which made me happy. But I forgot to order the sliders with jalapeno cheese....

The evening manager at the Franklin Park location is a complete idiot. I pre-ordered and PAID for a party pack of 100 and was given a specific pick up time. I arrived about 5 minutes later (giving them more than a half an hour to complete the order) and the manager came out and said they did not complete it because they needed more time. I proceeded to have a full conversation with this manager letting her know that it was OK and to go ahead with the order, I would wait the 15 minutes she said it would take them. I proceeded to pull away from the drive thru window to wait. When I pulled back around 20 minutes later she opened the window and said they thought I changed my mind because I drove off so they did not complete the order...lol. The atmosphere fresh, clean and neat and the food was great. It was well prepared and neatly packed however I ordered a large sack of chicken ring and a sack of onion ring . The onion ring sack was half onion rings and half chicken rings. The service was ok but when I walked in there was a gentleman standing at the register. There were 5 people behind the counter but no-one offered to help him and after a few moments a guy came from the bathroom and stepped right in front to place his order. I thought they were together but then gentleman stated he had not placed his order. A woman came from the back to clear the register never acknowledged us in line or asked if we had been helped.
