Arby's — Restaurant in Liberal

Sadly, we went to Liberal, Ks for my brother's funeral. But we still needed a meal. Talked to a nice young man who brought us some condiments. They were close to closing, but the staff urged us to go ahead and order. We did and the same young man from before brought out our meals. We talked about the situation and he offered his sympathy. We could see the staff was doing closing chores and we wondered if we should get a to go bag. Staff told us take your time. Appreciated their service and conversation. Next time in Liberal we will make it a point to stop in again. Big Arby's fan and this one was full of nice folks...

The employees at Arby's must be in a slump right now, as I've been here twice in the last month and been met with subpar quality food. It's okay, but that's all it is, and both times I left wishing I'd gone somewhere else. They've been light-handed with the meat on their sandwiches, and on my most recent trip they either kept my curly fries in the grease too long, or they should have changed the grease. (I suspect the latter more than the former. ) It will be a little while before I come back again. Arby's used to be my #1 go to when passing through Liberal. I'm sure it will be again, but little things like that...

Was in town for a short period. Decided to stop into Arby's to try their new Chrispy Fish Sandwich. It was a major disappointment for my wife and I. First of all, the fish was far from crispy. It was soggy and soft. The lettuce tasted old and left a bitter taste in my mouth. There was only a smidget of tartar sauce on one corner of the bun. The tartar sauce was the best part of the sandwich. We were on the road home or I would have taken them back. Also the employee who gave us our sandwiches never look at or acknowledged us. Worst experience I have ever had at that...
