Bob Evans — Restaurant in Liberty Township

Horrible experience with placing a carry out order. After calling and placing our order, we were given a 20-25 minute time. We arrived 25 minutes after our order had been placed to only find no order for us. After one person in our party went in to give our name for our order, they said they didn't have it. So I went in a second time and again gave the name and number associated for our order. The girl who helped me, Ashley I believe was her name, was completely rude and not helpful. I asked if the number I had called was their number, showing her the number, and she proceeded to say she did no know the stores number, but had the other locations phone numbers. She named off the orders they had, with one name sounding like it could have been mistaken for the name I gave, but she continued to say they didn't have our order with horrible attitude and annoyance. She was unwilling to help or even try to fix the situation. Will definitely not go back to that location for...

Bob Evans does a lot of things well...the breakfast food is fantastic, lunches are great. Even some of their dinners are delicious: Turkey Dinner and Meat Loaf, for example. HOWEVER, there are things that Bob Evans need improvement on. My wife and I both ordered the Prime Rib Dinner. When the dinners arrived our server Liz was great. She said that the meat may have been overdone which it was. She returned the dinners to the kitchen and brought us new prime rib...this time it was done in a satisfactory manner. We began eating and I discovered the baked potato was cold...very cold. Liz returned it and brought back a very hot potato, which was great. IF the broccoli was cooked at all...I wouldn't know...it too was cold. I didn't want to send this back so I left it on the plate...My wife's dinner was just ok...her meat was done and potato was cooked sufficiently. As she said when we left the restaurant: "You don't go to Bob Evans for a steak dinner."...

If every Bob Evans was this good, it would be the most popular restaurant in the US. We've been coming consistently for lunch on Sundays even though this is not the closest Bob Evans for any of us that are getting together. They have a fantastic manager who dives into the work of seating folks and checking on orders when needed, a top-notch crew of servers including Norma and Asif who are efficient, accurate, and anticipate things like drinks, extra napkins, or any missing bread or side dishes should everything not come out at the same time. And the food is really, truly good. The deep dish Chicken n Noodles, Roast Turkey, and Pot Roast are all popular choices, and the breakfasts are really amazing with great portion sizes as well - the western omelet and Chocolate Chip Pancakes stand out as especially good. The chain has certainly had its ups and downs but this crew at this specific location is...
