Ordered online for delivery of lunch on a Monday in May. Weather was fine but I am 39 weeks pregnant and being induced on Thursday. Trying to finish up somethings at work before going on leave. Ordered lunch at 11:15 and website stated delivery would be 30-40 after the order was placed. Around 12:00 I started checking the status of my order and it had not left the store. I called the store to find out if something happened with my order and Trevor at the Powell location informed me the order left the store and would be here in 5-10 minutes, that was at 12:05. Called back again at 12:20 and Trevor again informed me that it was going to be delivered shortly and his screen showed the delivery was close. However, by tracking my order it showed it had not left the store yet. Order finally showed up at 12:36 and I asked the driver “what took so long? Trevor said you left the store 30 minutes ago.” She said she had just left the store with my order and that is what the tracking showed as well. I understand things happen but I don not understand lying to customers. What I don’t get is how Trevor benefitted from lying about an order leaving the store? I also didn’t get the condiment requested but when I called back I got good old Trevor. I’m sure the condiment will not make it to me. Probably the worst delivery experience I have ever had. Just go pick up your lunch or order elsewhere. Not...
Read moreI went to Panera Bread with my 81 year old mother to enjoy a bowl of soup and a piece of bread. It makes my mom happy so we enjoy stopping after running errands together. On this day, the drive-thru clerk, says my 81-year-old mother, cannot exchange the hard-crusted French baguettes for a piece of bread. She said my mother could have apples, or they could slice the hard crusted French baguette but they could not, would not, exchange the hard crusted French baguette for a piece of white bread. Well, if my mother has a hard time chewing, how would cutting up the hard crusted French baguette or apples, make her lunch more enjoyable? All we wanted at Panera Bread was a piece of bread to go with our soup. Is anyone seeing the irony in this? They have done this before for us, many times actually, which is why we did not hesitate to ask. I don't know if the little drive-thru clerk was just lazy or mean or just didn't know any better, but that was ridiculous. You're telling me a bread company cannot sell me a piece of bread? In my opinion, as a business owner, I would be very upset if my employees did not go the extra step to make sure a customer was satisfied and I would think adding a piece of white bread to a customer's meal is not too much to ask. So we left and went...
Read moreI went in with my husband around 7:45pm. I ordered one of the new grain bowls and it was delicious- WHOEVER I noticed there were no avocados in it as there were supposed to be. When I originally went up to get my food there was no one there because they were all starting to close things down and move food to the back. When I went back up to ask about the avacado a girl told me that they ran out, and then just continued to stare at me... didn't ask if I wanted something different, no one told me when I ordered it that they were out of some of the ingredients. I have worked in the food industry for 12 years and if I'm out of something I inform the customer. I would NEVER serve food and just "hope they dont realize something is missing!" While we were eating we could hear them all talking loudly about how they were "trying to get out early/asap" and telling one another to hurry up. One girl was even eating the produce out of the bins with her bare hands right in front of us! SUPER unprofessional all around. Doesn't help that the prices keep going up and food quantity...
