I have nothing to say about the food, because it is the best pizza in the tri-state. But as a place of employment, not so great. That doesn't mean dont work there, as this is just my personal experience. I was scheduled to work in the morning on a Saturday, and when I woke up that day I had a bad fever. I texted the manager, assuming to be told to either stay home or get a doctors note. Instead, I was told to come to work and have the manager take my temperature to verify. Also being told that I have a tendency to call off on Saturdays. With all due respect, I did call of the Saturday the week prior, so I can see how that would raise doubts/suspicions. Though I dont believe that justified the manager's request. Feeling offended because I actually had a fever (turned out to be Covid), I quit. I just feel that the request was out of the manager's jurisdiction to make, and will instead make employees reconsider coming back. I am not saying this just to criticize, my point is that said manager should give new employees a longer chance than they gave me, as they may misjudge the situation with their instinct and miss out on a good employee. Other than that, said manager was amazing at their job, and treated me with respect. And they also make the best pizza out of everyone in that...
Read moreWe had a large pizza here today for lunch. It was the best pizza I've had in over two years. It wasn't too well done and it wasn't undone - perfect. The sauce and the toppings were perfect. Whoever made this pizza is a keeper. All LaRosa's stores aren't created equal if you know what I mean. Thanks again and keep up the good work and we will be back.
10/27/24. This has been my favorite Larosa's pizza store for a few months now. However, today I purchased a pizza that was terrible. I called the 513-347-1111 number to complain. After talking with a supervisor, they gave me a full refund except my tip which I was okay with. The main reason I'm writing this review is because I don't understand why the store allowed a bad pizza to be given to a customer. When my wife and I opened the box (At Home) we both saw that something was off. The pizza crust was very thin, thinner than their usual "traditional" pizza crust. We thought that maybe Larosa had a new thin crust. After tasting it, we thought we were eating cardboard. Again, Larosa has already made this right, but the store should have NEVER let this pizza go out the door. We will not be going back to this store on a Sunday...
Read moreBeen here multiple times and it was fine which is why I gave 3 stars, but this time was a one star visit. 9 people, their food was fine, but my BLT Hoagy was disgusting. The bacon tasted like burnt weed. I told the waitress it was inedible and I needed to order something else. I ordered a steak hoagy instead. I said lettuce, tomato, pickle, banana pepper. She wrote it down and repeated "lettuce, tomato, onion...", I said no, no onion, just lettuce, tomato, pickle, banana pepper. She adjusted what she wrote. And wouldn't u know the dang thing came with onions anyway. And it didn't come out until 30 min later and by that point everyone was ready to leave. So I asked for a box as soon as she set it down. And she seemed confused and irritated that I did so. It was a group effort on the bad experience this time, really, NOT putting it all on the waitress (who was clearly newer). Bad bacon is not her fault. And I don't know who screwed up the onions, her or the kitchen. Either way, very disappointed...
