Pizza Joe's — Restaurant in Liberty Township

I am a traveler staying at a hotel 1.5 miles away. I could have chosen multiple pizza parlors closer to me, but chose "Pizza Joe's" due to its positive online review score. I have experience making pizzas while working at a quality Italian restaurant on the Pacific Coast. I ordered a small Hawaiian + 1/2 jalapeno personal size pizza and got it "to go". The cost was in excess of $15. Upon returning to my hotel room, I opened the pizza box and was immediately disappointed. I initially thought they had given me the wrong order, as it only appeared to be a cheese pizza with 9 slices of jalapeños on top...Upon closer observation, I saw the finely chopped pineapple and ham sparingly dispersed on top. Let me reiterate: the ham and pineapple were nearly imperceptible. Although the red sauce was plentiful and zesty, there was plenty of melted cheese and the crust was soft and yeasty, it didn't mitigate my overall disappointment at the lack of toppings. Clearly the business is cutting corners in this area. For this reason, I'm out. I won't give it a good score, nor will I recommend getting a pizza here based on this singular...

Ordered a 9cut and asked for two slices with pepperoni only and the other 7 slices with banana peppers and mushrooms. The cashier explained that they couldn't make a pizza like that. It had to be half and half even though I'd done this many many times at this exact location. I order this way because some of the people who were eating pizza don't eat pork! Anyway, she finally agreed to do three slices with pepperoni for us. When we get the pizza it has 3 slices with pepperoni and the rest with banana peppers, mushrooms AND PEPPERONI! !!! Also, feel like they're racist. Been to 4 locations and one in Sharon PA and the customer service is obviously different when they're dealing with black and non black. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I'm done giving them my money especially when I can't get what I order...

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch with pineapples pizza today. The pizza was very dry and didn’t taste good at all. I called and complained about the pizza and told him that it didn’t taste like the one in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Because I was so excited that it was one in the area.
