Abelardo's Mexican Fresh — Restaurant in Liberty

So we ordered several different things to try.

Birria tacos-they had promise but the meat had zero seasoning. I’m not sure if this was an accident or if this is actually how they serve them.

Steak quesadilla-huge and delicious

California burrito-yummy

Nachos with ground beef-they were good (meat was seasoned well) but the all the toppings were under the meat (is this normal), hardly any cheese, sour cream or guacamole. And like I said, it’s like someone forgot to put meat on the nachos and just threw it on top.

Street tacos-delicious

Horchata-never had it before, thought I would try it. The most divine drink ever!

Disappointed that sides (like adding lettuce to tacos) was almost $2 additional. Seemed like nickel and diming. Tiny side of queso for $3. It came with no sauce at all (but not sure if on to go orders we were supposed to get it ourselves)

Will we go back? Possibly. Is it really worth the money for the food you get? Well, portions were large, but expensive for take out fast...

I ordered Togo. I got a lengua taco and carnitas burrito with lettuce cheese sour cream and rice. First problem my taco was not lengua it was carne asada. 2nd, I took a bite it was way over cooked almost burnt sssssssooooo crunchy. It had little to no flavor. I put green salsa on it thinking it might help…. I was wrong, the green salsa had less flavor than meat, it tasted like thick water. 3rd the burrito was messed up to, none of the extras I paid for were in the burrito. I have ordered from here three times on door dash. Every time I dont get the cheese sauce i ask for. I have asked for the cheese sauce on whatever I am ordering. This time, I asked for it on the side, and guacamole. I paid extra for this this, and they have never given me what i order extea. I grew up in Nebraska, and the abelardos in omaha gave me the experience I expected every time. This establishment is an embarrassment. I wish it was still a macarenas.
