Clay County Museum — Attraction in Liberty

Excellent and fun and interesting museum. Worth every second. Gross and frightening, turn of the century medical apparatus, a harp piano, a whole display downstairs crowded into a small space showing how people survived and made stuff on the prairie and each nook and cranny was a surprise of something new. The jars of early medicines were fascinating! Pretty sure there was an empty jar of radium. A wall ornament has a beautiful cimarron paint, so red! Wonderful people. Great experience! They have many antique and historical items that have been untouched for over a century! The building itself is a time capsule and has its' own story. There's an upstairs and downstairs so many artifacts to enjoy. I'm a college student and really enjoyed the experience! It is made for all ages.
