Very nicely detailed. Informative and well thought out. We spent maybe 45-minutes here. Some interesting items to look at. The bulletin board was neat to read! The cursive handwriting on the bank ledger from 1858 was so beautiful. A spittoon right at the teller line... how times have changed.

tiny bank. the vault was well built. I was amazed to learn that they stole $60,000 back then. according to tour guide Brenda it's over 1 million dollars today. great history lesson. great real pieces recovered. i recommend this tour.

Not much to see It's just one Room Definitely overpriced when down the street you can see other museums for free with a lot more to see You're better off just taking your pictures outside

VERY MISLEADING! I want to start off by saying the receptionist was very sweet and knowledgeable about tour and the area. When you arrive at “Jesse James Bank Museum” You pay your $6.50 self guided tour, due to Covid of course. So the receptionist gives me some literature for my tour. In the literature it literally states “ AT THIS TIME WE HAVE NO PROOF THAT JESSE WAS HERE WITH THE REST OF THE GANG. IT IS POSSIBLE JESSE DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS ROBBERY DUE TO BAD HEALTH” How can somebody name the bank after Jesse James, knowing that he did not participate in this event, or even in the area?Obviously to sell tickets. Ridiculous ! If a relative of Elvis Presley visited my house, I wouldn’t call it the Elvis Presley Museum. Extremely...

This is credited to be the first bank robbed in daylight in the United States, which is interesting. The robbery was credited to the Jesse James Gang although historians do not believe that Jesse himself was there. The ties to the local college, William Jewell, is also neat.

There is not a lot of rooms to explore since banks in the 1800s were small. The gift shop has some neat merchandise and the guides are very sweet. Be sure to check the website before heading there to confirm the hours & availability. Great place to visit if you're interested in...

The receptionist was very nice and the gift shop has some very unique merchandise, however it was very small and a little over priced in my opinion. There was one room where the vault/bank is and there are some neat artifacts and furniture. Then there is a small room in the back where there are more artifacts on display and that's it. No guided tours, just some brochures for you to read. My party of 6 blew through this attraction in less than 20 minutes which was...
