Great atmosphere and amazing BBQ and beers! Some of the best BBQ I've had the opportunity to enjoy. But wait, they weren't happy with having some of the best BBQ in the area, the had to double down and make some of the best micro brewed beers too! And still they didn't stop, you can take those wonderful beers home with you in a variety of ways! Its really almost unbelievable how great everything is here.

We started out with the pretzel sticks and beer cheese as an appetizer. Both the pretzel and the beer cheese were tasty and made for a unique appetizer you won't find too many other places. Next up we tried the apple fritter sour beer which had a crisp, sour, and wonderful flavor. Follow that up with the meat mile tray for three of us. We had amazing burnt ends, ribs, pulled pork, and brisket for the meats. Every bit of all those meats were incredibly flavorful and juicy and I would put them up against nearly any other BBQ place in KC and come out winning. In addition to that was fries, cheese curds, Mac n cheese, and ranch beans. Once again all of them tasting amazing.

If I had one critique it would be that the ranch beans were different from what I personally would have liked. This isn't to say they weren't good, they were. I just prefer sweeter tasting beans to those that taste spicy and a bit like chili. Once again just a personal taste though.

I should start this review by saying that I've eaten at almost all of the good barbecue places in Kansas City and in other states too. I've also smoked my own meat for almost 30 years so barbecue is not new to me. I was very surprised at what a pleasant place this was. My wife and I had the two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork and the pulled pork was very good. I'm not a huge brisket fan but it was very good. Baked beans were about the best I've ever had, everything made in-house. I should add that if you were thinking about having burnt ends just get two other meats and then get their baked beans because the baked beans have the burnt ends in them. My wife had a side salad and it was about the size of a small mixing bowl with really fresh lettuce and veggies. We also both enjoyed the puzzle pieces hazy IPA also brewed there. Our server, Tiffany, was really kind and excellent and had just the right amount of attention. We ate there about four in the afternoon. I would add that the place was fairly accessible if you're someone who needs room to move in a wheelchair but I'm not sure about the accessibility of the street and parking. I have to share to prevent anyone else from wasting their time. Myself and 2 other mom friends were planning on having a girls' night out. We saw an event on facebook saying 3Halves Brew pub was having a live band. So we decided to let's go have some drinks, bbq and watch the live band. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we waited no less than 10 min to be helped by the hostess. So after we are finally helped, we asked if we can sit on the patio where the live band would be performing. We were told no, we can't sit on the patio even though there were open tables, we asked if we could be seated inside and then move outside once a table opens. The hostess exact words were, "Well, you can stand out there, but you won't get served." She also said that even if a table opens up outside, we won't be served. Now, mind you, all the other people outside on the patio were being served.

Honestly if the hostess would of just been kinder and told us we can't sit outside because of xyz, me and my friends wouldn't of felt the way we did because of the way we were being treated and talked to. I have never been so disappointed in a place as much as I was that night. So we will not be going back. This is a warning for anybody else wanting to have a good night out.
