This review is for takeout only, so we didn’t get to experience the hookah. I called in my order at 8:00 pm on a Friday night and it was ready in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was really friendly. Full disclosure: I got the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Falafel Pita, and Baklava for free as part of a Yelp Elite event. Here’s what we got: - Hummos ($6): Average. With the store-bought pita, I don’t think it’s anything special. - Kibbeh Ball ($2.50): Tasty, but I don’t feel the need to order again. - Chicken Shawarma Wrap (normally $7 + $2 for fries): Fine. The fries weren’t seasoned well. - Falafel Pita (normally $7 + $2 for fries): I actually ordered the Gyro Pita, but they gave me falafel instead. Disappointed. I even ordered a side of 1 falafel ball ($0.85) so I could try it, but obviously didn’t need to since they gave me a whole pita of it. It was just okay. Again, fries were just meh. - Baklava (normally $3): Good! Not the best I’ve had, but it was the best part of the meal. Plenty of parking. Outside seating. Lots of seating inside. Mood lighting inside. No alcohol. Serve food until 12/12:30 am. Overall, the prices are pretty fair, but the food is really average.

Coming from NY and growing up a vegetarian I take my falafel game serious. Falafel is almost as ubiquitous to NYC as the foldable slice or dirty water dog. I also eat hummus with a spoon or my fingers if a spoon is too far away. Everything was on point with the falafel 🥙 and hummus here! The hummus had a strong tahini presence making it the rich thick paste I grew up loving. The flavors were vibrant and indulgent, making me eat well past my share of the side that was meant to be split by 3 people. The bread had a great resistance to it while still being light and fluffy. No question the bread was as fresh as the crunchy greens and salad in my falafel sandwich! The falafel was well made and flavorful, the sandwich had fresh bread greens 🥬 and a generous amount of the often skimped on tahini. My only complaint would be the absence of a house made hot sauce that is often the catalyst between a good falafel sandwich and a great one. The baklava was stingy on nuts and was not dripping in the sauce that I generally love licking off my fingers. I will be back for the humus and falafel but skip the baklava!

I went here for lunch as part of a Yelp Elite Squad event. I don’t partake in Hookah but it seems like this place would be a good one to go to if you do. It was very quiet during the middle of the day but I anticipate it picks up a lot at night with people smoking hookah. I ordered the hummus and the Arabic Chicken Shawarma. I told the waiter that I can’t eat pita (I’m gluten-free). When I ordered the chicken shawarma, I didn’t realize it came wrapped inside a pita-like bread. And, the waiter didn’t tell me, either. So when he brought the food to me, I ate the chicken from inside the bread along with my hummus and salad. The chicken had a great Mediterranean-spice flavor and the hummus was good as well. I was full when I finished. I don’t live on this side of town so the chances of me visiting this place again are slim. But you should give it a try if you like hookah and/or Mediterranean food

!!!WARNING!!!!Worst customer service ever!! Me and my husband came on a NOT BUSY Sunday night to try some food we were seated by waitress that didn’t even speak to us and we waited 20 minutes for nobody to even ask us if we wanted water. So instead I got up and order my food from the register in front.DOESNT END THERE! 30min later my fiancé finally got his food first you would assume mines would be next NOPE NOT AT ALL.. 10min later I got up to ask the young lady when will my food be out she said shortly 15min after that I ask again and she said it was being plated whole time this was going on our waitress never care to mention the food will be out she just took care of the younger crowd with their hookahs. Finally my fiancé got up to ask the guy at register where we order he had the rudest attitude and told him to ask our waitress because he was busy. At this point if it wasn’t so late and I wasn’t so hungry we would’ve just left finally I ask the older lady I wanted say she ran the place and finally got my food their only excuse was oh we had a new chef and he wasn’t familiar with the menu which was worst excuse I’ve ever heard. We’re big tippers but for once we didn’t tip anything that how mad I was and the food wasn’t even all that. Honestly at this place you won’t get treated properly if you aren’t the same middle easter race as them. Terrible service and the employees act like they don’t even want to work mind you while all this was going we kept as calm as possible paid...

I will give 5 stars for the food but 1-2 stars for the service. I was here last week and towards the end, we asked our waitress for the check. 20 minutes later still no check. She comes back and we ask her again and she said together or separate. Then she goes mia again and comes back to tell us to pay at the front.

I was there this week and asked for the check again. And then again she goes mia for 15 minutes while we are waiting for the check. Mindfully this is weeknight and its NOT busy at all. After waiting good 15-20+ minutes, we got up and went to front to pay.

Here is the TRICK and TIP- please view your check/total before you pay.

The lady at register told us what we ordered and we confirmed. We were waiting for the total to populate on the screen before paying but the screen was black. Few seconds after she pointed at the card machine to pay. My husband paid, gave TIP and requested for printed receipt.

Trick- we were not given our receipt 2 visits ahead of time but now we know WHY.

They charged us 15% service fee within our total. Without asking or informing.

My husband ended up paying additional 10% on top of the total. Until we paid and received our receipt to realize they already charged us. So now we have paid about double tips for not the best service.

This almost felt like a scam! We have been here twice and both times we didnt get our checks to see our total.

Again, Please make sure you view your total before you pay or request to...

I thought it was a restaurant, turns out to be a hookah lounge; looks so weird and unsettling people sucking on the pipes while the whole atmosphere is smokey. Not a family restaurant; even though we sat outside the person at the next table was smoking and blowing in our faces until he left - an hour later! Another table of three men were talking loudly and using constant profanity.

Food took forever to arrive and had to request twice for water (bottles were brought out instead of glasses with ice), napkins, spoons, and fermented pickles to accompany hummus - the amount of which was so small and sparingly spread out on a small plate with an olive stuck in the middle. A lot of tahini and no decoration with spice, little olive oil. Was charged $7.50 which was a rip off. Unfortunately the waiter was scarce so no complaints were forthcoming. Meat was good and hot (chicken tawook), but rice was not fresh and was reheated. Pita bread were nice and hot.

Had to order the take out sandwich and fries three times and the fries were still forgotten. Add insult to injury, a service fee of $8.10 was added, making this meal $65. Outrageous! Refused the service fee for such lousy service (waiter was working a busy lounge but didn't care nor apologize). Woman at register was unprofessional - scratching her chest with long nails and moving t-shirt to reveal shoulder. I'm glad she didn't touch my card! A regretful meal...
