I have been here twice. I will not be coming back, and I'll tell you why.
Both times I have been through the drive thru. The speaker is in dire need of replacing, as does the screen, since it doesn't even work. To make matters worse, the person who took my order each time couldn't hear me, and often asked me to repeat my order when they finally got around to taking it. (I averaged a wait of 3 minutes each time I came through just to place my order, let alone finally finish it) The only positive thing I can say about this part of the experience was I was actually apologized to for the wait this time around.
The first time I came through, I was with my grandmother. I ordered a sandwich meal, and a chicken nugget meal. I specifically asked for no tomatoes, and I know they eventually got it, because they asked me to repeat what I said. When I get home, and I finally get to my lunch, there are in fact tomatoes on my sandwich. My ill placed trust caused me to find those tomatoes with my tongue, rather than my eyes.
The second time I came through, which was today, I waited 3 1/2 minutes in the drive through, at the speaker, before I was able to place my order. Ironically, even though it was 12:15pm, it was very slow. And by slow, I mean 3 cars parked and one van in front of me. I don't know what the hold up was. Same situation: I had to repeat my order several times, which like the first time, was not read back to me. I ordered a number two with no tomatoes, and a Dr. Pepper to drink. I also ordered a small Sprite for my cousin who was with me. I cannot be 100% certain she rang me up for a small sprite, but I can be damn sure she heard it, because she specifically asked me "You said a small Sprite?" I round the corner to the window, which the van sped right through with his speedy order, and I arrive at the window. Now arriving at the window was the first time, just as last time, I had even heard my total. Still, nobody has read my order back to me to ensure its accuracy. Before I hand my money over, I ask the man at the window, "Was that sandwich with no tomatoes?" He looked at the order and confirmed for me that it was as I ordered it. I hand him my money, and he makes change for me. He hands me my bag, and my drink, and wishes me a good day. I asked where my small Sprite was, and he said I didn't have one ordered. I told him I did order a small Sprite. He said it's not there. I told him never mind and sped off. Was the last time I'll ever go there, never again.
But, that's not even the worst part. I get home, I check my sandwich. Surely enough, there are no tomatoes on it. So I eat my fries, and I begin to eat my sandwich. On the second bite, I notice something that just isn't right. By the third, I start to grow suspicious, and by the fourth taste, I know what's wrong with my sandwich. Now, let me say that I personally have well over ten years experience in the food service industry. Fast food, full service, even fine dining, both ends of the house, even some management at a Sonic in my early 20's. I know OSHA, I know proper food prep and handling. The meat had a faint, but very distinctive taste to it: It's the taste it has when the meat is starting to turn. The meat should be tossed out long before it gets to that point, especially in a restaurant that doesn't freeze its patties. If my conclusions are right, my experience in fast food tells me that management is cutting corners in the wrong places to save cost. These are cuts in cost that are going to have people ending up in the hospital. I couldn't even eat the sandwich I paid over $8 for anymore.
I will never, EVER come back to this establishment again, and I will be forwarding this review to their corporate offices. I don't want coupons, I don't want vouchers. I just want them to know the danger and liability this store is...
Read moreWorst experience at a Wendy's ever. At the drive thru the guy couldn't tell the difference between a #6 and #10. Even after telling him we wanted a spicy chicken sandwich combo (a #6) several times. Then someone else took over the conversation and took our order perfectly. The lady that took our payment was not pleasant and didn't even have a mask on. Which fine whatever when you're inside working with everyone you see regularly but with a customer in the pandemic?! Not good. We get home and are excited to get over the whole fiasco that was our experience. We open our bag and find everything cold to the touch or the items that we ordered were awful. The chicken nuggets tasted like they were made at least 8 hours prior and sat out for the past hour. The honey mustard to go with the nuggets wasn't there. The JBC had tomatoes when we specifically asked for no tomatoes and it was cold. The fries were super cold like they were sitting without the warmer turned on. The large Sprite we ordered wasn't even 2/3rds filled. Oh and that chicken sandwich we ordered was a double bacon cheeseburger. It's like they were waiting on someone to take a faulty order from earlier in the evening. Needless to say, I used to like Wendy's but now I will try my best to convince my friends and family against it. I would rather starve; which is exactly what we are doing for dinner tonight. Thanks a lot. I hope this...
Read moreI just left this restaurant horrible experience. Definitely in need of a new manager and retrain pro that work here. I pulled up to this restaurant. No one came to the intercom at all the intercom had no lights or anything so I assumed the intercom didn’t work so I pulled around to the window where I was greeted by the cashier I said hey, I was trying to place an order is the intercom not working back there she says no it works. Nobody told you to hold on I said no so she goes to go get the manager who informed me her name is Sophia not sure if that’s her name not but is the young lady that is the manager on shift right now she asked what was going on. She says well we have something going on in here right now I said, did you hear me at the intercom if it’s not broken she says yes I did I said, but no one told me to hold on. Are you guys not taking orders she said yes we are.
