Kroger — Local services in Lilburn

Went in to buy some packs of water on sale. I go the self check-out area. I start to ring up the waters. I rang up one. It would not let me ring up the next one until I had put the first one on the scale to the side. So I pressed the button for big items. It said assistance was on the way. Someone came over with a hand held scanner and was trying to ring up the items. I pointed out that at Wal-Mart they made it customer friendly and had the hand scanners set up with the machine so the customer could use it. The whole point of self check-out is you can do it yourself. Get in and out quickly without having to wait on someone to come and fumble around taking time. They get paid by the hour, the customer does not. I was also told by the person you are not at Wal-Mart. Like I am an idiot. I do know what store I took the time to drive my car too. I am not blind, I can read the difference between Kroger and Wal-Mart in big letters on the outside of the buildings. Then as the they were ringing them up. I was being explained to how the discounts rang up. Again as if I am an idiot. I have been to Kroger before. I said yes I know. It took two of them to do this job. I understand that customer service is going down but that was ridiculous. I understand that 2x5=10. The girl absolutely thought she had the right to talk down to me as if I was a moron. She does not understand "the customer is always right or don't argue with a customer." Then someone asked her about the incident. I came over and was explaining my side. This person was staring at me with a bored unexpressionable face. Offered no apologies or I will speak to her later. Nothing then when I pointed these things at to her she just kept doing the same thing. I understand you have to have people to fill the position but really. Get people friendly people. People who are willing and wanting to help not just iratate the customers. I understand it was late at night but that is not the way to treat someone who did pass a Wal-Mart to come to their store. Wish I could give ZERO stars. Standing in line for 5 mins behind some guy buying 16 2-litres, the cashier rings him out and straight walks away! Closes shop and starts telling people why she doing it. Manager standing up top and didnt say anything! How? Why? This is how customers are treated? No one really apologized, the woman never even said she was going to close the register. The kid bagging stood there like whats going on? This is really sad. Im sure there are other people that can halfway act as if a customer actually matters. Had I done that at my job, I would have been told to make sure to not return. Was really outrageous to do that, people standing and waiting several minutes, just shut it off and walk away? The manager should have to answer why this woman was relieved of her position if it wasn't done. Hope the lady walking outside afterwards DOES call the corporate office and speak to them about the way this went down! I'll leave and NEVER come back if I walk in this store and see this woman again. This isn't what you do to...

I go in today August 22 to pickup some baby shower items! Diapers, wipes the usual. Number 13 register was the only human register available. Many older ppl were in this lane. I hate checking myself out. I did today! The light skin, heavy set security guy locked eyes with me while I was checking out. Me and my girls walking towards the door and he wants to see my receipt. Now you just saw me checking out. That’s what I said to him. He saying he wants to see my receipt no reason at all. At this point I don’t know where my receipt is. So I go to the lottery machine. He runs out where the buggies are. A lady walks out before me the detector goes off.. I haven’t even start pushing my buggy yet and he told the lady you can go and wanted to see my receipt! Ok after seeing my receipt, then he says was that so hard. Please open more lanes to avoid me being harassed by your FAKE cop. This could have been avoidable if more lanes were open for a human to check me out. The FAKE cop also said something like I went through checkout that’s...
