Booked this venue for a bridal shower. Was let down in every aspect of the word. Treated rudely and met with animosity. Prior to the event they lied in an attempt to manipulate us for absolutely no reason. Saying someone else was booked for the same weekend and they were giving the day away after invitations had already been sent out. We were later informed that there was no other person attempting to book the room. They did not provide enough tables/chairs for the group we told them we'd be having. I had to spend most of my time finding chairs and attempting to make them fit instead of decorating or enjoying the event. Did not provide enough linens. Did not check on the party during so we had to keep going out and asking for things. Trash was completely filled already when we got there. We were told the wraps would be cut into thirds and they were cut into halves. Had everyone shown up that rsvp'd we'd have run out of wraps for them as well as chairs!!! The food itself tasted good. Okay place for a casual coffee. Under no circumstances should you trust them with any sort of event. They had 2 months prior to...
Read moreAs there are many coffee shops in town, this will always maintain a "standout " status. Since it's opening in the early 2000s, I've seen different changes within. This place is probably the best representation of Lima; all different walks of life that come here. Be it business folk, students, artists, causals, passers-by, church folk, the rest of what make Lima what it is.
They maintain the same spirit they had when it first opened, simply by serving coffee and coffee drinks, small food items, and a place to just sit and take in what all makes Lima great. Stop in for a White Chocolate Carmel Mocha, sit back, and enjoy.
Other places try, this place...
Read moreI stumbled into this place while I was getting my vehicle worked on down the street. It was a fun coffee house with corner floor to ceiling windows that made it enjoyable to just sit and watch the city go by. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, drinks, and service. I’m not a foofoo coffee drinker but thought “when in Rome…” I had a baclava coffee…. DELICIOUS. It have gluten allergies, so I stuck to a ham and Swiss quiche which was very tasty. Note that gluten free options were well marked on their website. The only thing that I can say even remotely derogatory is that they have a limited gluten free menu. Other than that, it was a very...
