Placed an app order to pick up through drive-thru. Get up to the speaker & give my name. I then notice there is a sign saying they are out of chicken rolls. Which was of the items I ordered. I point it out to the employee. She apologizes & asks if I want something else. I tell her a crunchy taco I guess. Take 6 minutes to get up to the window. I ask if they are going to refund the difference in the cost of the item i paid for & what I substituted it with. She didn't know how. The female with green hair then asked another employee. This employee says they can't do it. I have to go thru the app. Which I know you can't do anything other than order from the app. The app sucks! I won't be using it any more. I ask to speak to a manager, & I'm told there is no manager there. So I tell her to cancel my order. Which she then tells me she can't because they already placed it on the screen. I will have to do it through the app. I explain I can't do it through the app. I'm not happy at all and drive off. I park& go on the app to see if I could cancel. Nope! So I go inside. I'm standing around for 3 minutes with no acknowledgment that I'm in the store waiting by the counter. Even though I see Katelynn (learned her name later) look right at me from the grill. I walk out and try to contact customer service. No luck. So I go back inside. I'm standing there for 10 minutes. I see the drive thru girl with green hair come up to the counter several times to call peoples orders, but still doesn't speak to me. I finally have to call her out and ask for the manager's name. She tells me Matthew & Leo. I ask when they will be in next. She tells me most likely tomorrow. I ask for a number to call. She says it's on the website I can Google it. I start to walk away and I see Katelynn come out from the grill to say something to the green haired girl. I then ask for her name. She tells me Katelynn. Neither were helpful at all. Poor customer service. I get it's a fast food place, and mostly teens working there. But how do you not have any management in the store to handle customer issues? When the order came in& they saw it had an order for something they were out of. They should have canceled the order with an explanation. I've had that happen before from a different taco bell. I received a text telling me they had to cancel it and why.
I tried calling the store from the number on the website. 1st time it just rang and rang. 2nd time I just got a busy signal. I'm just going to dispute the charge with my bank. Seems to be the only way I'm going to get...
Read moreThe "manager" Matt needs his job stripped from him IMMEDIATELY! I have lived in LC for over 15 years. For the past year or so, I've been on dietary restrictions. My husband and I have been ordering the same thing the entire time with maybe a small switch up like a taco or something. We order the Chicken Power Bowl with all sauces on the side. NEVER have we had a problem until this evening. We pull up to the drive thru and we're told we can't put the sauces on the side anymore. We asked why.. was given a generic response. We pull up to the window and ask them again, why not? The cashier tells us that it's not her it's her boss. So I ask to speak with him. This little boy needs to go back to training ASAP. He tells me that they're not going to do it anymore but if I want, I can say no sauce. Why would I say no sauce? I want the sauces, I just don't want a HUGE glob of Avacado Ranch, a HUGE glob of sour cream or a HUGE glob of guacamole, hince why we say on the side. How hard is that to understand? He tells me that he's not giving us the sauce for free. Huh? Who said it is free? All of those sauces come in the bowl, which I pay damn near $8 for each one. Soooooo, what exactly is free here? I'm paying for the sauces, I just don't want to tell the people "light, or easy on the sauces" because I've done that back when I first started ordering this, and nobody listens. So it's easier to say on the side. The "manager Matt" would NOT stop talking. Arguing with me, cutting me off, not letting me get a word in. Then what does he do? Slams the window in the middle of my sentence and tells me that he's not going to "allow" me to hold up his drive thru. I've seen this little boy maybe one time in there. Clearly he's been transfered from another store. I am calling corporate in the morning and letting them know how I am being discriminated against for my dietary restrictions. You absolutely do not have the say-so or the authority to tell me I cannot have the sauces on the side. If you're in that much need of bringing in additional revenue so you can hit your quarterly bonus numbers, you should've just told me that you have to start charging me for the little plastic containers the sauces come in. You wanted to try SO bad to have the last word.....
Read moreWow, I was a little stunned what I had witnessed during my visit. So this begins with me going through the drive-thru, only one car was in line ahead nobody behind. I ordered two cheese quesadillas get my order (fairly quick) go park for my lunch break and notice both have meat in them. I looked at my receipt and shows two cheese quesadillas so i figured i got passed someone else's order, I go inside and see two people talking to each other while they are waiting for someone to come take their order. Quite a bit of time goes by and not once did any staff even acknowledge the couple waiting (including myself). Even longer goes by and the guy waiting tells the other person he's with that they should just go someplace else and wants to leave, the other person agrees and says "definitely, but this guy (pointing to the Taco Bell bag in my hand) needs help and obviously they messed his order up." And attempts to get the staffs attention with no luck and finally walk out. Right after they leave a slightly older lady walks in behind me and asks if I had already ordered. I told her i think i got someone else's order by mistake and was just waiting to tell them. After waiting even longer the older lady moves over to the side of the ordering counter (not behind, but to the side) so she could better be seen getting someone's attention . Waiting another minute seeing it was clear staff couldn't possibly have not see either of us, she slightly above normal conversation level to get their attention shouted "could we get some help over her?" instantly and employee responded with "we no longer take counter orders and you need to move to the other side of the counter now!" I was truly in disbelief this had happened in front of me, especially considering I didn't even know they didn't do counter orders plus there was no indication that was now a thing. The older lady just walked...
