The Human Bean — Restaurant in Lincoln City

This is the second time we had coffee from Human Bean (different location a long time ago but also on trip to Oregon coast). The Snowy mocha was very good and the children really enjoyed their hot chocolate drink. Chocolate covered espresso bean that comes with the espresso drink is a treat. But what really stands out the most on this visit is the amount of care that the Barista gave. She politely asked if the hot chocolate order is for my children and offered to make it not as hot as they would normally make their drink. It has been a long, long time since I've seen this level of customer service in the US. And this is coming from a young person too. Maybe this is why there were so many cars lined up early in the morning even though there are other drive-through coffee shops literally a block away from this Human Bean on...

Once I got to the window the person up front was not friendly at all, seemed like the whole place was in a fight or something. My friend who was in the other window said the same thing, his person was not friendly.

My coffee did not taste like coffee at all, it seemed like it was missing the espresso. Just milk and vanilla. I've had HM before and it's good. But this time was horrible.

By far the best coffee and other choices in Lincoln City. The staff hands down the best. Opens nice and early for that eye opener and open into early evening for that end of the day night cap. With all that said it would not happen without the staff that cares about being there and has wealth of knowledge to get you something that fits your taste anytime of the day. I always look forward to them starting my day off right and have for long time and they haven't failed even once. Cudos...
