Me and my brother came up to Dairy Queen on a Wednesday, July 13th. I had ordered a swirl with vanilla ice cream and chocolate, dipped in cherry. He had ordered a swirl aswell with a butterscotch dipped cone. As we ate the ice cream, both of the vanillas were perfect and tasted good. And the chocolate? Tasted like spoiled milk and yogurt. (We had not ordered a yogurt.) I mentioned it to him and he had noticed that he hadn’t tasted the bad patch of ice cream yet, until he did. He made a sour face and spit it into the small cup. I had went back and said that the vanilla was fine, but the chocolate tasted completely expired. She said. “I know that the ice cream is not expired and or gone bad. But I will still call my manager about the ice cream.” I honestly felt like she was tired of me, for my young looking features, she must have assumed I was just a kid trying to get a refund. I didnt even want a refund. I just wanted to tell them their ice cream has gone bad. They served me and my brother bad Ice cream. The description of the ice cream was FOUL. Like it felt sour and a bit of like a cheese that went bad, with a mix of expired milk and yogurt. This isn’t my first time at this location of Dairy Queen. As I am writing this, (hours later), my stomach aches. Good job Dairy Queen! You messed up the most...
Read moreWaited 15 minutes to put our order in, waited another 20 minutes for our wrong order. She tried to give me a sundae when I ordered a blizzard, argued with me asking if the cashier repeated the order back to me (which she did). Insisted that we had to return to the checkout window to be re-rang up for the correct amount because the blizzard has “way more ice cream” (mind you instead of using the original ice cream from the sundae for the blizzard to avoid waste she just stuck it in the freezer for later). Waited another 5 minutes for her to refund our card and re-charge for a $1.49 difference. It’s not about the MINIMAL price difference, it’s the fact that YOU made the mistake and instead of apologizing and fixing it you argue with me asking basically if I ordered correctly then add even more time waiting to charge $1.49. Based on the way this woman was talking to the much younger staff member I’m assuming she was the owner or manager, she ordered the young girl that she’s going to have to “take her mask off” when repeating orders back to avoid any further miscommunication. No wonder this location is so short staffed, I can’t imagine anyone willingly working with this rude, frantic and downright aggressive woman. Will be bringing my business to one of the many other ice cream places nearby...
Read moreI ordered a banana split and asked if they could leave out the pineapple and instead give me only hot fudge and strawberries and she said no problem and repeated it back. She said i would have to pay extra for hot fudge because they make it with chocolate syrup and I was fine with it. I picked up at window and she placed in bag so I didn't really see it before I left. I get home and there are pineapples in it and chocolate syrup! I decided to call to see if they could give me some kind of credit for the next time I go there. After picking out the pineapple and eating the rest of it, I called and they said they could not give any kind of credit! The girl even asked the person who made it and she admitted to making it wrong!! Wow! That is terrible...
