Vito's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Lincoln Park

One of the worst experience of my life. Ordered a deep dish pizza. What we received was thin and burnt. The dough had not rissen at all. I'm not one to complain in fact this is the first review I've ever written on a restaurant. So I complained about the pizza and they prepared a second one and it really wasn't much better but at least it wasn't burnt. It also didn't have all the items on it that we ordered. They must be using old dough that the yeast has died for it not to rise. I don't see how they can call it a deep dish. We ate part of it anyway but the story gets even worse. The whole time we were there we had to listen to whom I suppose was the manager. A blonde woman who came out of the back and set with another woman and man who had been sitting there from the time we had walked in. Well the other waitresses keep asking her what drink she wanted and they kept taking a tray if drinks to them about every twenty minutes. Every other word out of the managers mouth was the F word or GD word. As well as the other blonde waitress who was wearing sunflower short's that were pants or pajama bottoms that I could practically see her but cheeks out of. If this is what you want to call a family establishments than you can have it. I'm just glad I didn't have my family with me and this was at 9 pm. I use to love vitos pizza. I've been going for 30 years but the last 3 pizzas I've had have just kept getting worse. Now after this last visit I will not be going back. I can't believe they have let it get so bad. On October 29 we had my granddaughter‘s 3rd birthday party here. I not only am beyond happy, I would highly highly recommend Vitos to anyone that ever asks me what would be a good place to have a gathering!!! The owner is a doll and Didn’t even hesitate when she was made aware this was going to be for a three-year-old need I say more LOL Everything was absolutely immaculate, They knew ahead of time what we planned to order, we did make a couple changes they worked with us not a problem at all and everything went so smoothly.
