I didn't know this place was here until yesterday and immediately wanted to check it out. The food tastes perfect, the portions are huge, the prices are low, and the entire place is extremely clean! Seriously, the kitchen is literally shiny. There were so many choices on the menu and everything was priced right. We tried the biyrani and the beef (pictured), along with the okra soup, which had a rich and flavorful taste. He showed us a variety of salads to choose from and we picked the fresh cucumber and tomato salad, which was delicious too. Next time we're excited to try the schwarma pizza that was advertised on the wall -- it looked really good but we wanted to try the traditional food first. I only heard about the health code stuff in these reviews, and it is almost like this new owner went overboard and making sure the place is super clean -- I cannot emphasize enough how noticeably clean it was. The owner was also very attentive in making sure we were happy with our meals and our dining experience. Read moreTried this place out today (delivered through DoorDash) and absolutely loved it. I ordered the Chicken Tikka, and the wifey ordered the falafel plate.
When it arrived and I took the plates out of the bag, I was amazed at how heavy the plates were. There's a large amount of food.
My plate came with hummus, a thing of bread, a portion of tomatoes and cucumbers (I believe this was fatoosh salad, but don't quote me on that), a good amount of rice, and the chicken tikka. The wifey's came with the same thing, only hers had falafel instead of chicken tikka.
Every bit of it was delicious and I'm shocked that I hadn't discovered this place prior to today.
It averaged out to costing 12 dollars a person, and for that price it is well worth it.
Highly recommended, I will be...
Read moreDon’t let exterior fool you. This kitchen puts out some seriously good eats. Amin and staff were very friendly, welcoming us into the kitchen to explain each of the dishes on the menu. He offered to make a platter for our group of five to sample a bit of everything. First course was a tasty chicken lentil soup. The large portions should have tipped us off but we were astounded by the platter that arrived. Biryani, kefta, shawarma, samosa, felafel, rice, a breakfast entree with eggs and greens I didn’t catch the name of. More soup and a salad plate of hummus, babaganoush. Food fit for a king. Or 6 - 8 Kings to be honest. I was also surprised by the very reasonable price. We left sated, happy, and looking forward to a...
