DaVinci's — Restaurant in Lincoln

If I could give a 0 I would. Tried contacting corporate and they have yet to call me or email me or anything in general which is why I’m writing a review. We’ve been loyal customers for decades now and to think our business means nothing is sad. My mom just had a knee replacement and her request was a chicken cheesesteak after she got out the hospital, so I got her what was our favorite. I paid for two 12inch chicken cheesesteak and a quart of pop which is an online special, and the total was $43 after paying extra for extra chicken and extra cheese. Not only did the food come cold, but literally no extra chicken or extra cheese, literally not even whole pieces of chicken just shredded and what seemed to be all the last little bits left in the tin. I was so disappointed and upset because I paid extra to make sure it was done tonight liking. There literally was just bread and a couple bites of chicken. I called the store and they didn’t answer so I called the corporate number under the other reviews snd left a message and still no reply. I feel like I got scammed. And it’s even more sad because it was my moms first request for a meal at home after surgery just for her to be disappointed. Honestly just want my money back and although we have loved them and been customers since I was kid, I doubt I’ll ever order again. Went for lunch on December 10. Not busy, sweet new employee working. We ordered a half Italian with extra meats and veg and a whole Philly Cheese Steak, 2 fries and 2 drinks. Firstly, drinks were musty like lines or ice make has mold. I don't know ow which but it is definitely one of them. The place is dirty and unkempt looking. The kitchen, what you can see of it, is horrible. Not a clean surface to be seen. Fries tasted off like the freezer, and it tells me they have an insulation problem and frosting on product. This tells me the kitchen is exactly how I suspect. Sandwiches were nothing great. The Philly was dry and tasteless. The Hoagie were not toasted. Literally ordered 2 12inch cheesesteaks with extra cheese and extra meat, paid extra for both and when I went to pickup I made sure that they made sure to make it with extra cheese and extra meat, and yet we drive all the way home 30mins from the location, to see that neither one has extra cheese or meat. This isn’t the first time, and it’s super frustrating spending additional money, and double checking with the restaurant when we get there, just for it to be wrong. Yet again wasted money and time.
