Edit: I finally had the chance to go through my bag of purchases and it seems like one of the crystals I paid for is not in the bag. Cherry on top of the fantastic experience. It is my fault for waiting days to open up and go through my bought items however, I highly doubt they would even believe me if I called and told them something was missing based on the other reviews.
I want to start out by saying this location has a lot of variety and fantastic selection if it wasn't for the terrible experience and employees it could be a great place. I came in a couple weeks back ( had a pretty good experience actually with different employees present) and then again yesterday with my mom and the experience we had yesterday could only be described by as unusual, rude, confusing, and overall just bad taste in your mouth. We waited outside really not that long they were letting people in by groups for social distancing. Completely understand. When we went in they said keep a social distance, again, completely understand and respect. Where it went completely terrible is when I started noticing that the employees follow you around. I asked a few questions because I am still learning about crystals and such and received a condescending tone. We were in there maybe 10 minutes if that and I had another employee come up who I have not seen before and just stare at me and I was very confused. She finally leaned in and told me we had to leave because theres a time limit. I do agree and understand having time limits but we were barely in there 10 minutes. So in order to expedite my presence in their store, I asked the employees to help me find the crystals I needed and they acted like I was the biggest nuisance to them telling me over and over again "its alphabetized". When it really wasn't because even crystals staring with an A if they had the word "green" in front of it they were in a different section. There is like half a store filled with crystals and names so it takes time to find them and their alphabetization system was confusing. Then you also have to keep track and write down everything you pick up their name, and weight and price so that takes time too. So I am perplexed. You want me out your store but you don't want to help me find the things that I need so I can leave your store because of your time limit? At the register same thing, condescending tones, awful attitude, overall felt like we were not welcome and being rushed. I would say a 30 min time limit would be more reasonable? The store is massive, there are literally thousands of crystals and other items I don't understand how I am supposed to have a good experience as a beginner being shoved in and told to get out almost immediately. Furthermore, you own a business that has a massive variety and is meant for browsing and learning which is what you preach on your Facebook page. Very hypocritical because in practice when I showed up to your store it was the exact opposite experience. The kicker is once we paid and left, we opened the door to see a completely empty parking lot and not a single person waiting to get in. I even took a photo of the empty lot because I was laughing so hard trying to comprehend the situation.
Bottom line: it seems like this particular business is thriving and does not need any money or support from their local community by the way they treat their customers. If they wanted business and support I would assume they would actually want people in their store? I was prepared to spend way more money in there if they weren't following me around and telling me to my face I need to leave. I suggest support another business. Honestly speaking if they didn't have the "sales are final" policy I would have taken everything back after I had the time to process the experience I had. Spent 10 minutes sitting in the car trying to process what just happened because it was just the most odd experience.
Edit: I came in around 2:30pm and wish I got the names of those employees I had...
Read moreUnfortunately I've had to update my review from 5 stars to one and we've made our last visit here. My family and I noticed a decline in customer service over the last sever visits, but the last straw was our last visit. I had my kids and grand daughter with me. My daughter felt very uncomfortable being followed by one employee. My other daughter had picked something up to look at when an employee came over and told her, store rules you can't pick anything up. Then turned around and in the same breath picked something up and handed it to another customer. Finally when we were feeling very uncomfortable and the vibe was extremely unwelcoming we decided to pay and leave. This was the exact moment another employee told us we'd spent too much time in the shop and needed to pay and go...meanwhile she was still happily chatting with other customers who were there much longer than us. I set down about 90% of the probably $400 to 500 worth of merch I intended to buy, paid for what I couldn't get at the shop closer to me and left with my family. I'm absolutely disgusted by the expierence we had. In 30 years I've never been made to feel like I was unwelcome in this store and I'm honestly extremely sad that our service was so abhorrently poor, this is just the short list of poor expierences by every employee in the shop that day, I could go on, but I will settle with the fact that we will never go back. Do better Euphoria, that was disgusting.
Second edit:after updating my review on how poorly we were treated, I was pretty disgusted to notice upon reading other reviews, a pattern of possible discrimination, and feel compelled to note that my daughter...who is actually my daughter in law who was the most heavily followed and had the most rude comments made toward her by all employees that day, is also very clearly Honduran while the rest of us are white passing. It hadn't occurred to me why she was treated worse than the rest of us because I always believed this place to be better than that, but on hindsight and after reading others expierence, I'm not sure what else to make of it. My treatment was certainly FAR FAR better before she started coming in with me.
I've shopped here since I was a kid. Miss it like crazy living an hour away. This is absolutely my favorite store when we go...
Read morei have been introduced this store by my uncle when i was younger and have been happily coming back to look and purchase beautiful items/crystals and supported this business even though the prices can get expensive. i am highly disappointed at the fact that i continued to introduce this shop to my close friends and having one of them tell me about an experience they had today that sounded way too similar to other reviews for it to be a coincidence. exact pattern/situation where she was looking at the rings and noticed one of them were already missing on their behalf even though its their job to fill that spot with the placeholders. she was then also accused of stealing one of the rings and emptied her pockets VOLUNTARILY because they were adamant she had taken something. mind you she is also poc as well. she even stayed to help them search for the "missing ring" by digging in the bracelets / miscellaneous items that she thought it wouldve fallen into. even when she walked in and was handed rings by the man at the door, she wasnt looking for gemstone rings and just asked where the silver ones were, he responded with an unnecessary comment by saying "you should take this more seriously bc we're on a time limit" even though she just got there for about TWO minutes.. back to the other situation with the older lady- while searching for the ring that was "stolen" she started to cry because she felt so uncomfortable even though she offered to help and they responded by saying "you feel that bad, huh?" ???? please dont support this store its way too sus and ironic for it to be a spiritual store. stop contradicting your business by selling cultural items if you not gonna treat poc the...
