KFC — Restaurant in Lincoln

This place we have eaten at several times and we have to say last night our meal was totally disgusting. The time before was not the best so we thought we would give them another try since everyone has bad days. Needless the say our fish was fried to the extent of all but black. The chicken was like rubber. The hushpuppies crumbled apart as we bit into them unlike in the past they are like a dough ball fried. The floors were filthy and there wasn't a table in the restaurant that was clean with out crumbs and oil all over the seats. Our food was SOAKED in oil, and rubbery. The pop machine was sticky and the pop tray looked as though someone threw up in it. VERY DISGUSTING. Everyone has bad days but it's been a month or more since we visited this place and it has gone to pieces really fast. Could be a reason nobody but one other family was in the place. The drive thru had 3 cars the entire time we were in the place, maybe the other drivers fell in the HUGE pot hole that is in the parking lot that will swallow your tire and half your vehicle. For $20.00 it was the last time we will choose to eat at this KFC. Think long and hard before choosing this restaurant. This place needs some improvements and a GOOD CLEANING. Ordered a family meal and added 3 additional sides. Online it said the order would be done at 8:30pm so I left my house accordingly (just to receive a cold and incomplete order and the wrong sizes for the sides) but the ticket on the order said it was done prior to the quote time. You could tell the chicken had been sitting out for a while and they didn't even attempt to make a fresh batch...which takes 15 minutes for a fresh drop. I was met with a horrible attitude from the staff when i called to have the order replaced. The store (lady) refused to help correct the issue, she was very argumentative and told me to seek a refund from the 3rd party service then hung up on me, which was funny because I ordered through their online service. Then, to top it off, the customer service only provided a partial refund and by partial, I mean not enough to even make up for the inconvenience. I basically paid $45 to be treated like crap instead of having a nice hot meal with my family. I downloaded the KFC app to streamline my order because my family can be quite particular about their choices, and I didn't want to delay the line. The app was user-friendly and efficient. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted by someone who seemed to be the manager. She was very courteous, asking for my name and informing me that my order was being prepared, which would take just a few minutes. She even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited, which was a pleasant surprise.

What stood out most was the cleanliness of the place - it was spotless. The crew worked seamlessly together, which isn't your everyday fast food experience. After a long day, it was refreshing to enjoy hot, fresh food in such a friendly, clean environment. Highly recommend this location for a superior fast...
