I’ve been in Lincoln not long and this is definitely the worst McDonald’s. First I pulled up to the left hand speaker and the person in front of me was waiting there for two songs, I could see her mouth “forget it” and she waved her hand and sped off. Already a really big red flag. Then as I pull up, I have my window down and respond yes to using my mobile app, then absolutely no response. I was even kind and said “I have a code whenever you’re ready” but not once did anyone respond. Then I started calling out “hello?” “Is anyone there” after waiting for three songs which was a bit over 10 minutes. I could tell the person behind me was fed up and I was too! I saw so many cars pass by on the right. I got fed up of waiting so I just drove to the window because I’ve worked at a McDonald’s before and wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, their speaker is probably broken or the sensor is off. To avoid confusing instead of getting what I normally do I just ordered two 10 piece nugget meals (and absolutely no hate to the worker at the window this is a McDonald’s issue not this employee. She was absolutely so sweet I wish I got her name). As I ordered I gave her my code which said redeemed on my end but then she said it didn’t work. So now I’m a bit more upset. After I said you’re fine because I know the feeling and it’s not her fault at all. Then at the next window I explained that the speaker wasn’t working and i just ordered at the previous window and even after taking my receipt the employee was not understanding what order I was there for??? It was so much confusion. Finally I got my food and drinks and by the way my drive is not far! I’m 3 min away from my house at this McDonald’s and I have never stopped by it because I’ve always gone to the one on van dorn, well as soon as I was home and tasted a fry, it was stale, hard and unsalted. So to really rub salt (not on my fries though) on the wound. Genuinely I’ve only ever had two bad experiences at a McDonald’s in my life and this was...
Read moreIf I could give this zero stars I would. Now please understand we know things are hard right now and a lot of places are short staffed. But to sit in a drive through for 30 minutes is ridiculous. But we waited, because we are traveling and had hungry kids. After FINALLY getting our food, we made the mistake of not checking the bag before we drove away. Like I said a mistake, missing food. 2 burgers. So that was pretty irritating but again I should have looked, shame on me for assuming they could get a very simple order right. Husband got a McRib, ya know cause they are only here for a limited time. Again, another mistake. You couldn't hardly tell there was anything in the box other than sauce with a bun slapped on top. I get it they are supposed to be messy deliciousness but that was beyond ridiculous as to the amount of sauce that was in that tiny little box. Maybe they were just too busy to care or whoever was making it just didn't care but it was uncalled for. You would almost assume that the majority of people who go through a drive through are doing so because it's supposed to be faster than going in, or they are driving. How can you even expect someone to be able to eat something like that? I know hard times and not much staff but a little big of consideration and to simply double check an order before you send it out doesn't take but .2 seconds to make sure...
Read moreDear McDonald's employees. At least twice a week. Every week for the last year. My wife stops through your drive through around 11:00 when she gets off work. We make this choice because my wife and I truly loves McDonald's fries. And it used to be that we felt your restaurant had the best quality McDonald's food out of all the McDonald's in town. Sadly though over the last 6 months. The quality of both service and food has steadily declined. We've encountered everything from numerous orders that were incomplete, to cold food, fries that were both cold and hard. And this one there is really no excuse for. When we order sweet tea it's a 50/50 shot on whether or not we actually get sweet tea or just regular tea. All we are asking is that you please start taking a little pride in the job that you do. Is it too much to ask that the food be hot, fresh, and accurate. Please even if service takes a little longer. We would much rather have to wait in line for an extra 30 or 40 minutes. Then get home and open our bag and find out that the food we have isn't even edible. Sincerely yours a very disappointed...
