A Salty, Crispy Obsession! Mr. Hui's is a gem! Having lived all over the US, I can confidently say their salted crispy chicken is unique and utterly addicting. Seriously, I keep coming back for more. The portions are just right, and the cash deals make it even better on the wallet. While I've enjoyed their salted crispy frog legs, shrimp, and crab, the chicken reigns supreme in my book. Don't forget to ask for extra chicken – you won't regret it! Their homemade hot mustard is a revelation – delicious and surprisingly effective for clearing the sinuses!
Mr. Hui's offers so much more than just their incredible salted crispy chicken (though that alone is worth the visit!). Their beef broccoli is the best I've had anywhere. I've also ventured into some of their more unique dishes and been thoroughly impressed. The squid and pork is a flavorful surprise, the seafood delight lives up to its name, and the pork with black beans is a comforting classic done right. Even their Szechuan chicken packs a delicious punch. But let's be real, the salted crispy chicken is the star. And that homemade hot mustard? Don't leave without trying it! Fun fact there is a MR HUI’ S in...
Read moreGood food for the price point $$. Crab Rangoon was bomb. Lot of cream cheese. Delicious. I had Shrimp something. I couldn't understand her, but breaded Shrimp and hot peppers in it. BTW. Fried rice is 1.50 more And didn't expect a cash price. But specials are cash only, atm close, so not that big of a deal. Speedy, couldn't tell if they started my food until after I paid because I finished half of a cigarette, went inside, sat down and I looked over and the one girl was packaging it up. Meticulously BTW. When I got to where I was going, opened the bag, nothing shifted. Everything with tight lids. Did I say how surprised I was with the amount of food. I could hardly mix all on my plate. But for something new. I couldn't believe how good it was. I never pick right. I guess the key is ordering how you want your meat. IDK, but friend ordered sweet and sour chicken, she was disappointed. Mine came mixed with the sauce, and hers wasn't mixed so wasn't as flavorful as it could have been. Oh and apparently they don't use pineapple chunks, another check, unchecked for her. I would say 5 stars. I'm sure she would probably say 3.5, but just because the Crab Rangoon...
Read moreWe all know...hundreds of thousands of Chinese restaurants across the country. We all have our favorite location. When we are in Lincoln. We'll eat or order from here. Food is great. Service is great. Only downside is...and we didn't realize it until recently. A "convience fee" is automatically added to the bill. It's not a tip. It's called, convience fee. Never have we see a "convience fee" on a bill. Convience for what? And to arbitrarily add an additional fee to the customers tab...no no. Asked what it is....convience fee and did not get a straight answer....one says...credit card fee...another says Bank fee...one in the same we suppose but should not make your customers pay. You absorb the cost in your sales. Additionally, debit card payment...there are no fees. Money comes directly from the customers bank to the restaurant. No fee paid for debit card and all debit cards are clearly marked...DEBIT card on the card. We will still eat here...and so should you! But...convience fee??? It adds up depending how often...
