Food good. Service VERY poor at times. /Begin Rant(/long detailed review): First time there, no issues. Never had to concern myself with anything. Food was great. Everyone nice and smiley. Service Great. Me happy. Second time there, I thought it was just because it was "All You Can Eat Sushi" on a Friday night, and they only had one sushi chef (bad planning for Friday night? Other Chef called in sick? Further come to find out they ALWAYS only have one sushi chef. Not good). I was with a group of 6 and I ordered 4 rolls - as suggested by the AYCE menu and the server (as many as you can at once to help/assist with food prep, etc). Kewl, no worries. Everyone else ordered other items, mostly Chinese dishes and one person orders sushi dinner which included 2 cali rolls. All of their food came out at once - including the one with the cali rolls. I waited for literally 20-30 minutes before my sushi came. No server came to ask us how our meals were so I was unable to ask why. I did notice the sushi chef seemed busy - but he was able to make a couple rolls? I wasn't going to go flag someone down, I assumed a server would come by at.some.point. It wasn't super busy. Server NEVER showed up. I looked around a few times but wasn't going to cause a scene or anything I figure I'd wait for them to come service their guest. Nothing. FINALLY my rolls came - 3 of the 4 - brought by another server. No apologies, just asked me if I wanted to order more. I said, I believe I have another roll coming so I'll wait, thank you. That finally came. By another server. Original server NEVER came back, until the end to drop off check. Okay. Interesting. So I say, no big deal. Stuff happens. Bad night. I understand. Worked in Food industry myself - fast food to high end find dining, to owning a bar and grill. SOO, I give them another try... Third time. No more AYCE sushi, fine. Probably good choice with 1 sushi chef. They have 2 or 3 roll combo you can choose from a list. Okay cool, I'll do the 3 roll combo. Spider Roll (softshell crab) and two others. GF chooses Mongolian Beef. I ask if I can get an order of Hot and Sour soup for an appetizer. Hot and Sour soup comes - largest pot of soup I've ever seen in my life. NOT a cup. Fine. She said she thought I wanted us to share it. NO bigs. Just assume I want 8 cups of hot and sour soup. LOL. NO biggy, turns out it was only $5 I took the leftover (95%) home. My sushi rolls came out VERY QUICKLY!! Nice! Everything is looking up! Surely my GF food will come out right behind. No. Well then surely pretty soon. It's Mongolian Beef. Should take 5-10 mins tops. Nope. Took about 30 minutes. Crazy. Literally like 3-4 other tables in the restaurant. One was a bunch of folks doing big Hot Pots. Okay. This is not coincidence anymore, this is trend. SOOO, dine at your own risk. I suggest DO NOT ORDER SUSHI AND NON-SUSHI AT SAME TIME!!! Personally, I will not return. Everyone has a bad day, but service like this will ruin a place, no matter how good the food is. My goodness, on two occasions I have dealt with them and they are so horrible. one time the guy couldn't understand me on the phone because they can't understand english very well (not to be rude) so he cancelled my order and hung up on me! shouldn't have given them another chance after that but figured hey i'll let it slide because it's close to me and great food. but the last time I went, I called and ordered two orders of sesame chicken for me and my husband but my husband called to say he already ate when I texted him I was picking us up some take out. I called the place back LITERALLY FOUR MINUTES LATER to cancel one of the orders and the guy literally argued with me and said I had to pay for both orders because "it too late to cancel. you call back too late." really? it was four minutes! i have the call logs! i could have just drove off and not came and got it but didn't want to not have food. so when i get there, tell me why i waited for 20 MINUTES?? if my food was already made I should have gotten there and just grabbed it. i hate when people lie!! and i worked in retail and food so I know when someone's lying. Read moreStaff told us we could seat ourselves but did not provide menus. A friend of mine and I sat there for 5-7 minutes and we were asked by 2 people what we wanted to drink. We asked what products they had and waited as the person who greeted us eventually brought menus, she also turned out to be server. The drinks and appetizers were delivered promptly but the server did not stop by to check on us. The server tended to all other tables, delivered food that had been ordered way after ours, refilled other tables beverages and checked on them but left ours alone. I ordered a cocktail, took 2 sips but returned it because I wasnt fond of the beverage. I asked for the item to be taken off our receipt but the server said it was delivered to the table. I told her she personally dumped out the $9 beverage that she was charging me for, she asked a manger to take it off and he told us it was no problem. I get being busy and being the only one running the floor but we could have been treated better. The food was great but the server seemed to have woken up in a bad mood. Despite the terrible service I still left a generous tip but I dont think I will be coming back to this location any time...
