Sara Market is dirty, overpriced, and poorly run. I got food poisoning after eating something I bought there. When I checked the reviews, I saw that the owner actually tried to justify selling expired food by saying they “have a lot of stock.” That is not a valid reason—selling expired products puts people’s health at risk and is completely unacceptable.

They also resell items from other stores and mark them up by a dollar or more. I’ve seen them misuse food stamps by allowing non-food items to be purchased and even watched them hand out cigarettes, which raises even more red flags.

The store is unclean, the parking lot is full of potholes, and the way they operate shows no regard for customers. There are far better, cleaner, and more honest Middle Eastern markets in Lincoln. I strongly recommend going...

I usually don’t write reviews, but this really needs to be said. Sara Market is one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve had. First off, I found multiple items that were months expired — not just by a little, but literally months. That’s not just careless, it’s dangerous. It makes me wonder how much they’re really checking anything on their shelves.Even worse, the way I was treated by the staff was awful. There was a clear difference in how I was spoken to compared to other customers — like I didn’t belong there or wasn’t worth their time. It honestly felt like discrimination, and it was very uncomfortable.
