Nestled in a small shop off of the main street in downtown Lincoln is The Tea Nook. It is a quaint and charming little tea house. My wife had always wanted to go to "High-tea", so I happily went with her. The tea nook only has a couple of tables so it feels very private when you have tea. I had no idea what to expect. After we were seated we were given a tea menu. We each were able to select our own pot of tea. After the tea was brought out, so was a plate with a delicious salad and two kinds of quiche. I am not usually a fan of quiche, but that was delicious! A short while later a three-tiered tray was brought out with two types of scones, two types of sandwiches, and at the top was cheese cake bites, a German chocolate cake bite, macaroons, and napoleons. They were about the most delicious thing I have ever tasted! We had an hour and a half to eat and drink our tea. It was incredible! I am so glad we did it. High tea is a little pricey for two people, but it was well worth it! It's not something you would do often, but I highly recommend checking it out. Reservations are required.

We experienced high tea for the first time here at The Tea Nook and couldn't have had a better time! Thank you so much Alina and Dena for hosting us for my 37th birthday and helping make it so memorable! The tea's we had were exquisite and the house made tea sandwiches, scones and desserts were so so tasty. The clotted cream and lemon curd were excellent as well! We took leftover eats home with us and ate it this morning, and it was still delicious. We were also able to bring home leftover tea that remained in our teapot! Also thank you so so much for my birthday gift tea, the creme brûlée bag! It was very unexpected, I actually almost shed a tear in a moment of thankfulness haha I love it and really appreciate it. Thanks again for helping us create nice memories for me and our family, we can't wait to go back and visit again! It was a very personable and warm experience with excellent service and tea/eats! Wish we could do it every week to be honest :)

I have been dieing to come to The Tea Nook in Lincoln. I finally went and took my Mother in Law for her birthday and was not disappointed. I messaged the owner through Facebook to make a reservation and was able to get a weekend day that worked for us. Disclaimer: there are only two four tops and one two top inside so be patient with getting in during high requested days, the quaintness of the room and the service provided makes it well worth the wait! They had plenty of delicious tea options including decaf for my daughter and each person got a pot of tea. The food was amazing and plentiful and we had to bring a container home. My favorites were the croissant chicken salad and the cucumber open faced sandwich and the white cake. The scones came out warm and I believe they make their own clotted cream. The waitress was attentive and sweet and took great care of us. We will definitely come back for another ladies tea!

Through my booking process the employee I interacted with treated me like I was a nuisance and repeatedly ignored my phone calls or would decline my call and send me a text message. I had booked a reservation this via text in October, I called multiple times to speak to someone to verify and did not get ahold of someone for months. Finally, I called and the call was rejected and they sent me a text that they could not find my reservation. I tried to call again to discuss options and was repeatedly ignored aside from a text stating that they were too busy to talk to me and they would try and contact me in the new year. The text messages were much more aggressive than I was expecting including telling me their family was sick, and they were unable to see their children because they were so busy that I should not be contacting them to make a reservation. I feel sorry for the family but I was just trying to make a reservation and support the local business. I was honestly shocked at the entire interaction. It was unlike any customer service experience I’ve ever had. The reviews were amazing and the website looked cute so I was excited to have a fancy bridal shower but I do not want the bride to be treated like I was through my process of making a...
