I have known about this Valentino's location since at least 1999. It has always been a small location with very limited seating. The seating area is better for a quick lunch than anything else. I remember the seating area being a little bit bigger. It got smaller after the remodel. I wouldn't consider myself a loyal customer, but I do periodically visit this location. I ordered a carry out pizza several time recently, and I am never dissatisfied. I have tried both thick and thin crust pizza. One disclaimer that I'd make about Valentino's pizza (not just this location) is the crust is a softer crust even on the thin crust pizza. You might not like it if you prefer a crunchy crust. I consider Valentino's pizza 2nd best in Lincoln. Where Valentino's is the best is their bread sticks. I have yet to find another restaurant in any category that makes better bread sticks than Valentino's. They have garlic and cinnamon. The cinnamon variety make a great dessert.

Good solid pizza with fresh ingredients. Location setup for takeout. Can get fairly busy so order ahead. Pictured a veggie and a pepperoni pizza. Also had a salad (not pictured) which I would not recommend, very plain/bland, and not worth the money (buy a bag salad on sale for $2 at the grocery, basically the same thing).

My mom's most frequent request for me to pick up is Wings from Valentino's. You can get them several ways but she always wants them Plain with their house made Creamy Italian for dipping! Great, attentive service! Join my Foodie Group EAT IT in Lincoln, NE on Facebook.

When was the last time they had award winning pizza, 1970's ? I'll eat a Dominos pizza before a Val's ever again. The pizza tastes terrible and you need to add your own garlic to the bread twists. It's like eating cheese twists, and this is constantly ! The spaghetti is OK, at times. I didn't even want to finish it it was so bad. The crust smelled and tasted weird. The people don't care and they have young managers that don't know how to run a business, but where does anymore... Used to be almost an everyday place for lunchtime at work, 25 years ago. Not everything is bad, but it's definitely gotten worse over the years. Somethings changed. No wonder it's not busy anymore. My friends complain about it too, so I know it's just not me ! You need "Improvements" Val's... Doesn't matter, I won't be getting pizza or "Cheese...

I remember this restaurant chain from when I was a kid. I loved it. I try to eat Valentinos whenever I visit Nebraska. I ordered out from this place last night. I followed the recommendations of my friend and got the "Two Sisters" pizza and "Val's Famous Garlic Rolls."

The so called "Famous Garlic Rolls" are literally hamburger buns. I'm not kidding. This is ridiculously ghetto even for Nebraska. They tasted old and I didn't even finish half of one, and I bought two orders. They were actually gross. I still can't believe they are actually hamburger buns. Like the ones you buy from the super market. Hamburger buns. Hamburger. Buns. With sesame...
