Wendy's — Restaurant in Lincoln

Let me start by saying the staff was friendly and all of my comments are directed to management. The staff is poorly trained and/or poorly supervised. We arrived between 130-2pm. The table we sat at needed to be cleaned as did the seats. We did that ourselves. Ordered the Southwest Avocado salad. No avocado. The staff forgot to take it out of the freezer. The staff didn't seem to know what went with which salads. Another trip to the counter was made to get the dressing for the Southwest salad. A taco salad was ordered in our group and it came with no chips or sour cream. Another trip to the counter. Several trips were made to the front counter to get the missing items. The drink station had so many dried, sticky spills there was no place to set a cup down to put on the lid. Lastly, when a bathroom has the mega two roll toilet paper holder, the queue to replace the tp is when one roll is empty, not when the customer has to tell the staff they are both empty. Especially when the bathroom is designed with the toilet ten feet away from the sink and paper towels. After what small rush of customers they had, I counted 10 other people, the staff congregated at the back and could be heard talking rather than checking to make sure anything in the dining area was cleaned. I go to this location often usually in the morning but never usually have issues today lunch time however, I could not get tap pay to work for me. What could've been a very frustrating situation for me and inevitably resulted in me having to go somewhere else was the biggest opposite! JOY is who was helping me she tried troubleshooting tried my phone multiple times. She did all this with a smile and never loosing an ounce of patience. She ended up taking care of it I told her that wasn't necessary but she insisted and when I say I am so thankful she saved this pregnant woman from alot of frustration and more tredging around in the rain when I really needed to just eat my chicken asiago sandwich I was craving. If upper management sees this her name was joy and she is amazing. Praise her, reward her, keep her not a lot of people in this industry care as genuinely as she does about the customer experience. So today i tried wendys and was left disappointed. The fries are utterly terrible. Like even worst then the really bad cold McDonalds fries you sometimes get. They are that bad. As for the burger, it itself was fine. Nothing special but not bad. However the menu is really small with only a few variety of options. That being said i was pleasantly surprised by the drinks. As someone who isnt a fan of coke products i was pleased they had other options. I also tried their frosty as its supposedly a highlight of their menu but its literally just soft served icecream in a cup. Nothing special. Overall with all the other options out there i wouldnt reccomend going to wendys. I wouldnt even go there if it was right down the street...
