But on the other hand if you know how flavorful and tasty this cuisine is then you may want to think twice before heading to Craven BBQ.

The restaurant I is clean and the staff and helpful and friendly. But ultimately with any eatery it is all about the food and I love food. So I received a card in the mail and I was in the mood for the grilled BBQ chicken that I know from portuguese restaurants in Elizabeth, NJ. So how was the chicken here? It was overcooked and dry! There was no succulent moist chicken to be had. No salt or pepper either just grilled chicken. The ultimate disappointing is that the piri piri sauce which is more than just Frank's red hot or Texas Pete's and the chicken wasn't seasoned with any type of marinade. In my humble opinion the chicken being seasoned with a marinade or a dry rub is what makes it so tasty and memorable!

This place is delicious and great prices. I was waiting for this place to open because I love BBQ. Am planning on trying every thing on the menú. I love the taste of charcoal.
