Had high hopes for this new place. First off , it really isn’t a restaurant in the traditional sense of the word. You order at a counter and they bring it out. Overall was very disappointed. For starters, they forgot our order and so our friends who ordered after us got their meal and ate and finished it. When we asked what was wrong after20 mins, they realized they had simply missed us entirely. So then they started making it and we waited another 15 mins before it started to come out. The sopes seemed undercooked. They didn’t have the light crunch you expect. Perhaps it was because they were rushing after we had waited half an hour for our food. Also got tacos and the meats were fine, not great. Didn’t like the al pastor (sadly), the carne asada wasn’t moist…nor was the carnitas. The flavors of the different meat are delicious. The portions were good and ample. The rice and beans delectable. The spices, chiles and sauces were good and I wish I could have their recipes to try at home.

The service, while not as prompt as we would have hoped, was great. Any issue we had was quickly resolved.
