This owner is inconsiderate & has no concept of time or punctuality. I waited in the parking lot over an hour past the time the Bakery was scheduled to open. Eventually the owner strolls up to unlock the door so I can then pick up the order I placed a week prior. Sadly I was late to the event the pastry was intended for. The pastry was wasted as everyone had filled up on the pastries that arrived on time. This is not an isolated incident the owner regularly opens late while people sit in their cars. The pastries are great but not worth the frustration.

Edit- Due to the owners response it's important I provide more context.

As I mentioned in my review this behavior is not isolated to a single event. Today's incident was not the one I referenced in my review. However, today's incident is what drove me to give a review as I have encountered this on three occasions, my husband twice, In-laws once, and now my father. Your store says you open at 2:00. Yet you keep people waiting in the parking lot until you unlock the door at 3! My concerns aside what about your other patrons who show up at 2? Do they not matter? We drive 86 miles (both ways) to your bakery to find your doors locked. We have no knowledge if or when you will unlock the doors. People sit, hope and wait. Meanwhile your inside? That's terrible! You don't see the people waiting? Would it make sense to unlock the door at 2 like the sign says? Have you considered using a ring doorbell? Essentially you validated exactly what I stated in my review, not to mention numerous other reviews stating the same. Identify where I am lying and I will...

This bakery offers AUTHENTIC French pastries!!! My husband and I have been going to this bakery for years. They’ve changed locations but thankfully we managed to find them again! šŸ˜… I wanted something extra special for my daughters birthday and I knew she loved their raspberry Charlotte Mousse Cake which they make in a small version. They made me a heart shaped larger cake that serves eight that was absolutely stunning! C’était magnifique!!! šŸ¤©āļøšŸ¤©I love Costco chocolate cake as much as the next person, but this was SO MUCH BETTER! It was glorius! And not only did it look a picture it tasted like the freshest of raspberries suspended in a sweet cloud of mousse! You just can’t get this kind of stuff anywhere else in this valley! My daughter was thrilled because it really was something out of the ordinary.

I have purchased lemon tarts, chocolate tarts, croissants, brioches bread and macarons! The lemon tarts are so tarte and bursting with lemon flavor! The Chocolate tarts are soooooo rich and delicious! They don’t have a huge selection every day and if you specifically want something, put in a special order.

Please go out of your way to support this beautiful bakery! Especially now during a pandemic! It would be such a huge loss for our community if we lost this gem!!! The owners are skilled and kind and will bend over backwards to help get you what you need for your special event! I know they have catered weddings and the like and are a...

Most exquisite!

This is a small shop in a strip mall, but you shouldn't let that deter you from going in.

The pastries are delicious! We went close to closing time, so there wasn't as much to choose from, which was probably good, because I wanted a little of everything!

My favorite was a lemon dish. I'm not sure what it was called, but it had the perfect texture, sweetness, and tartness.

We got the napoleon (English name), and a fruit tart, and two macrons, all made to perfection!

The man who helped us was so friendly and spoke English enough for me to understand. My daughter was there who is learning French, so she talked a bit with him in French.

If you are looking for the best, French made, French pastries, you don't have to go to France! There's a little taste of France right here in Utah! It's well worth the short distance out of your way. Don't miss it or you will be the one wishing!

I live in South of Provo, but my French learning daughters insisted we stop when they saw the sign. I'm always afraid of spending too much because usually they charge a lot, but this place had great prices in my opinion

I will make a return trip absolutely! There are so many more things I want to try!

Thanks again for the wonderful desserts! 10...

I’m going to be honest, I was put off by the heavy curtains on the windows, eclectic decor, and how they reused order trays. But, when you walk into a French bakery and hear the owner speaking French to a patron, you know you’re in the right place! The food is what matters most, and they nailed it. We tried the almond croissant (which was a crazy cross between a croissant and cake in consistency), the Napoleon (which was an interesting balance of flaky layers and creamy filling, super sweet frosting and barely sweetened filling), and of course, Macarons! I fell in love with Macarons in France, and have made them myself, but I have struggled to find any good ones in Utah. It’s very hit or miss, but these macarons were so good! They weren’t like the candy colored, mass produced, stuff you normally find in Utah. They were soft inside and the shells were flavored as well as the filling, and they were so good I keep day dreaming about getting more! Also, they were above average in size, and only 2.75 each. I can see why this place came recommended! If you found this review helpful, please like it so Google and I know. Thanks!

I hereby decree that any purchase of any sweet, anywhere, is a waste of money if it was not made at Eliane French Bakery in Lindon. Take your mortal enemy to this bakery and share a decadent eclair with him. You will leave as friends. Take your ex. Bam! Flame rekindled. Take a platter to work. Kazowee! Instant raise. Bring a treat to your ailing mother in the hospital. Ding! Miraculous recovery. The delicatessens in the display cases of this sweet little nook of a shop will cure cancer, disarm nuclear warheads, free North Korea and bring world peace; they may even inspire Patrick Rothfuss to finish his series. Note: None of these claims have been approved by the FDA. HOWEVER, never underestimate the power of a placebo. Especially one that tastes THIS GOOD. Also, you should go try this place. Tomorrow. It opens at noon. Bring cash; the card reader hasn't arrived yet.
