Sorry folks. Did a staycation but seems it hasn't changed much. Still the same old Wigwam eats. Your best bet is exploring the REAL Westside of real hospitality foods n folks. From good restaurants of The People in the area. Big portions n great tasting. For true Mexican breakf or lunch Zamoras in the heart of old town Avondale. Highly recommend. Want true Mexican pastry walk down to the bakery there. Want a great tasting coffee or pick up fresh loafs of bread coldwater cafe is great also family owned from true hometowners. You craving true country food. Head to old town Buckeye, Sheep Camp where REAL Cowboys hangout. If you get there early you'll see them. If your craving a great ethnic Italian Argentinos for lunch down the rd is amazing n humbling family business. If your craving burgers REAL beef, Arlington next door outside seating picnic bench stlye and your able to purchase steaks there from there butcher shop. If your craving big Mexican style REAL large burritos n dishes than corner of Miller n Monroe in old town Buckeye you'll see wild west cowboy steak house. Not fancy inside, 70s decor, but great Real food Highly recommend chorizo burrito or plate large portions. N they deep-fry there own tortilla chips. Want real baked Mexican pastries. They also have Fiesta bakery down the rd. There tamales are #1 if they have some usually run out by 10am. If your craving real baked donut shop. On waston n Yuma next door to subway "Fresh Donuts". Highly recommend ham, jalapeños croissants. But sell out sometimes by 9am. This is truly what n makes Avondale n Buckeye. Real genuine hospitality from owners that care. Wigwam for us out here is just a golf n spa place. Not a eatery. Nothing more. Kinda sad for beinging such a fancy place but it is what it is. O almost forgot. If u want a bar atmosphere next door the local burger joint is the best there. Always supporting small business owners, why? Cause there real!! Born and raised here In my home town of...

I really wanted to love it, but we left feeling hungry and meh. Good news is it wasn't all bad, but definitely has much to improve on. We arrived for breakfast and to enjoy some time with family. The area is pretty good size with many tables outside, some seating with fire pits and more With a few of the family pool. It is dog friendly and there were quite a few enjoying the nice weather. We say ourselves and waited for a server to bring menus and take drink orders. After about ten minutes we arrived and seemed to be handling slot herself. She was friendly, apologized for the wait and soon had our drinks to us. The breakfast menu is pretty small, but has some good choices. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches that include breakfast potatoes,,triple stack with bacon and French toast with sausage. Then we waited and waited and waited some more. Our sever didn't come back for at least 20 plus minutes to even let us know it would be out soon or even apologize. When she did appear to acknowledge the long wait it took an additional 15 minutes or so before we saw our food. The breakfast sandwiches looked amazing. The potatoes seasoned well will some bits of peppers mixed in. Once we took a bite I was even happier. Bread was toasted well, bacon crispy and tasty. The pancakes while not looking the best did taste good and bacon was crispy. Unfortunately the French toast really was a let down. While it looked ok at first; upon closer look and when cut into they were not cooked, soggy from the egg wash and inedible. I'm honestly not even sure why the cook thought it would be ok to serve. Why did the food take so long and still one of the most basic meals was undercooked? Sausage was good. By the time we saw the server again we were annoyed and ready to leave. I was not about to ask for anything to be remade in fear of how long it may take and my niece had lost her appetite. For a resort I left...

While we did not eat dinner here, we had drinks and an appetizer, and it was very good. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service we received during the course of the evening. Chris greeted us immediately and was so friendly and attentive. Not knowing if we had been taken care of yet, Elijah made sure to check with us in case we hadn't. When we returned later that evening after visiting Litchfield's, where our bartender, River, also provided 5-star service, Sonya gave us excellent service with a smile. I read other reviews stating that the service here was terrible, but we did not experience any such thing. The comfortable outdoor seating atmosphere and live music here and at Litchfield's, along with such amazing service, will have us coming back for more. Chris, Elijah, Sonya, and River, you are rock...

Super slow service, wait staff WAS apologetic for long wait. We've had really good meals/service here in the past, but tonight was 45min for food after waiting 20min to order. My iced tea never got refilled = empty long before I finished my meal/others requested refill and never got it and our burgers were overcooked/charred black not medium well (we've ordered the same burger several times in the past and it is usually super tasty) we had to flag the waitress down for a check despite our plates being stacked and empty glasses in plain view. Note: thankfully we weren't in a rush and the evening and atmosphere was nice. Hopefully this was just a case of being understaffed and mgmt will take notice. I would give atmosphere 5 stars/food and service 1star, but assuming this was just a bad night I'm giving an overall 3 stars.

Update: I called to stay for memorial weekend, I’m a veteran. I asked for a military rate and the girl laughed at me and said they don’t have military rates on a holiday weekend(like I was joking), when I asked , it’s memorial weekend, even on a military holiday? She was like ya, no discounts for military. As she continued to be sarcastic and laugh under her breath. Wow! This was my go to place since I live the down street but I guess they aren’t military friendly anymore. Never had this issue in the past. Great staycation with kids. Yummy drinks for adults and great customer service.
