Brunch vibes at Park Cafe in Goodyear! 🌞 Surrounded by orange trees, this place is a vibe — but be ready to wait a bit on a Saturday (we waited 15-20 mins for a table for four, which wasn’t terrible). The chilaquiles were a hit, especially with those homemade, crispy tortillas 😋, but honestly, the steak didn’t seem worth the extra charge — I wanted more steak for my buck! The mac and cheese though? Chef’s kiss. 🧀 My kiddo liked the chicken strips, but they were... well, just chicken strips. Husband had the hard horchata (basically horchata with Kahlua, and he was living his best life) while I had a vanilla iced coffee, which was fine... nothing that’ll make me ditch my usual latte, though. ☕️ For dessert, we went all in with churros and ice cream, plus a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream — but here’s the thing: why did the server serve it in a to-go container? We weren’t even close to leaving, and she also brought the check without asking if we were done ordering, so that was a little awkward. 😬 Overall, great food, cute spot, but not sure if we’ll be back... maybe for the torta next time! 🤔 #BrunchGoals #ParkCafe #FoodieAdventures #ChilaquilesAndChill #MightBeBack #GoodyearEats #FamilyBrunch #OrangeTreeVibes #DesertEats #ChurrosForDays #HardHorchata #NotEnoughSteak #FoodReview

I would have rated zero stars for this visit if it would have let me. I am a frequent visitor for the last three years, we live just down the street and the food is always good, despite the wait they sometimes have (which we don’t mind because we are familiar with park Cafe). This visit today however, was rather disappointing. It took 20 minutes after we sat down to get a server, and that was only because I went to let the hostess know no one had yet stopped by. The server then came by, we then ordered drinks and food because with the wait already knew what we wanted, was told out of a drink and then another table next to us ordered same drink with no problem. Skip to an hour later, our waitress apologized for the third time about the wait, everyone around us ordered, got their food and paid before we even got ours. As everyone else was leaving just asked for our check for the drinks because at this point we had stuff to do. Mark, we think his name was came up to talk to us, knew we had been there before said he would talk to Gilbert the manager and comp our food if we would just sit a little longer. So we did as long as we could have it to go. The waitress comes back with our check, the FULL bill after waiting an hour and a half and still not the to go order even. No we didn’t want to pay for the food, we didn’t want to wait the extra 10 minutes it took. We were ready to leave. Then the manager comes over and says so you don’t want the food, no, we didn’t want to wait for it, but because “Mark” convinced us to we did. So we left, without food, and we saw it sitting there on a table as we left, because we didn’t want to pay for it. Other. Tried to call a few minutes later and the manger wasn’t in. I was asked to call back 10 to 15 min later. I hate when people play this card, but I Manager a big box retail store, I know there are certain measures to take care of customers. I definitely am not one to complain EVER. It takes me a lot because of what I deal with, but this experience was totally unacceptable. We will unfortunately find another breakfast/brunch place to go to for the next...

Decided to grab a bite to eat after hitting some golfballs at Valley Golf Center down the road. It was about 11:15 when we got there and the inside was packed with a couple people seated outside on the patio (But its too hot here for that 🤪) The hostess offered us bar seating which we accepted. I knew I was getting breakfast even though they do have lunch foods. Our waitress Fabiola, came up to introduce herself and let us know she’d be back in a few minutes. We watched her prepare some drinks behind the bar and make a run to a few tables, the staff all seemed to have this organized chaotic dance that they all did pretty well with. We ordered Arnold palmers when she got back to us and watched her make them as well as a few others and once she came back she took our order. I ordered the special which was Tiramisu French Toast, and my spouse ordered Kendra’s family pancakes (3 full stack). They came out pretty quickly and looked delicious. The french toast had Nutella in between two thick slices of bread and a chocolate pudding withe rum coffee ice cream on top. Presentation was exciting and my first bite made me smile. I don’t do sweet breakfasts often so this was a treat. It was indulgent to say the least but I didn’t feel ugly stuffed. It was just enough to satisfy 🥰 The pancakes according to my husband for filling and he took some home with him. She kept our drinks filled and happily buzzed around the bar making coffees and filling orders. They didn’t disappoint. Loved this place for...

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review for this restaurant which I never do for restaurants in general. First off our waitress was sweet. However we waited over one hour to be served breakfast. Apparently the kitchen lost our ticket and we weren’t notified of this until about 45 min after the fact. Mind you we watched people come in way after us and get their meals. So the waitress had to get our order a Second time. After maybe another 20min or so we we’re told again sorry they’re really backed up in the kitchen. I get that but because we had ordered and they lost the ticket and we had been sitting their almost an hour, we should have been prioritized. The manager never came out to apologize and nothing on our bill was compensated, not even the coffee. When we expressed this to our waitress we were told what we ordered is what we pay for. Honestly my fiancé and I eat out a lot and never once have we not been compensated by a restaurant for their mistakes. Even if it’s a free desert. I already wasn’t going to go back because of the amount of flys I had to swat away, but with their lack of care for our inconvenience it seems like this establishment really doesn’t care about their customers happiness/comfort. I get that everyone struggled during Covid but no one should have to wait over an hour because of the restaurants mistakes and not shown some kind...
