Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Little Elm

I really enjoy this franchise and their pretzels, but I’ve noticed an issue that could be improved. The staff often stop making fresh pretzels around 8:00pm, even though the store doesn’t close until 9:00pm. By then, only a very limited selection is left, and as we all know, pretzels don’t stay fresh for long. Having a fresh pretzel can really make a person’s day, so it would be wonderful if fresh batches were made closer to closing time.

I’ve also seen situations where a number of customers come in closer to closing, wanting pretzels, only to be turned away because no fresh ones are being made past 8:00pm. That not only disappoints customers, but it could also hurt business. If this franchise ever struggles, I truly believe this practice will be a big reason why. A simple change—making pretzels until closing—could really keep customers happy and...

I decided to come here today for a pretzel and a drink . I went through the drive thru and there was one car in front of me. I sat there for at least 15 min waiting wondering what was taking so long . Finally , the car in front of me received a small bag and then when I approached the window., there was no one waiting in the lobby and no one at the window . I did see someone making pretzels. I ended up leaving without anything due to the long wait and there was cars behind me also leaving . I don’t know if there was only one person working the entire store but over 15 min wait is ridiculous. I will probably try again maybe not going through drive thru and see if it is any faster . As a lifelong auntie anne's soft pretzel lover, this was so disappointing. I paid $16 for a pretzel, nuggets and a medium lemonade. I specifically asked for hot and fresh and told them I was willing to wait for it. They insisted that it was hot and fresh...surprise it wasn't. The pretzel sleeve had at least a tablespoon of oil pooling in it and more in the bag. It tasted like they took an old pretzel and just dipped it in the oil again to fool me. I will not be back. Good luck trying to eat that mess...
