I was very impressed with how responsible this Chili's was with COVID-19 protocols. We visited on a Saturday evening and after a 30-minute wait, we were seated in their pretty empty dining room. I'd say no more than 25% full. It was the most safe we've felt in any restaurant during the pandemic. Employees were thoroughly cleaning the tables and seating after each party left. Now, on to the food - which was equally as impressive. I started off with the Dreamy Frosé Margarita. It was pretty icy, without much of a taste. I'm a wimp when it comes to drinks, so I didn't mind that too much, but I was disappointed. You should probably go for something else - but the rest of my meal was amazing. For our appetizers, we ordered the white spinach queso dip with chips. The tortilla chips were fresh as can be - warm, crispy, and delicate and the hot dip tasted amazing. Definely get this over the guacamole or salsa - you can get that anywhere. We also got the Triple Dipper appetizer special which brings you a sample of three appetizers. We chose the fried pickles, blossom petals (fried onion strips), and the crispy cheddar bites. They were all great, but mostly, it's a great deal if you can't decide what you want. For my entree, I got the Ultimate Smokehouse Combo - a sampling of Chili's BBQ items. I chose the Texas Dry Rub Ribs, Brisket Quesadillas, and Crispy Chicken Crispers which came with Roasted Street Corn, Garlic Toast, and Fries. This was hands down the best BBQ dish I've had. Now, I haven't had much "authentic" BBQ, so take that however you will, I'm just saying I thought it was amazing. The ribs had great flavor and we're perfectly tender, the crispy chicken strips were familiar and satisfying, the corn was the best side with all the yummy toppings, and best of all were the brisket quesadillas. I was in heaven taking and savoring each bite. It will be a very hard decision getting a full serving of that or this combo again next time I go to a Chili's. The rest of my party also enjoyed their meals. They had the Mango-Chile Chicken, Original BBQ Ribs, and Chicken and Steak Fajitas. Believe it or not, we had room for dessert and boy, are we glad we overindulged. We ordered the Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie AND the Molten Chocolate Cake. Both were so so so so good. Probably the best feature of both were got how they're served warm. There's something magical about that which just made it all extra delicious. The rest of the table also thoroughbred enjoyed them both. My favorite of the two was the skillet cookie, but honestly, get both and thank me later, but I apologize about the stomach ache you'll probably have - especially if you get some milk with this (which...
Read moreDon’t let the social media hype fool you, it’s crappy quality food that looks WAY better in their advertising. I hadn’t been to one of these places since the beginning of the pandemic and for good reason. Nothing has changed. The mozzarella sticks came out cold, super annoying. If you wanted to order the 6-count and have 3 dipped in one sauce and the other 3 dipped in a different sauce, they won’t let you do that. I was told I’d have to order two 3-piece orders. Lame.
The social media “$10.99” deal isn’t really a thing unless you’re getting the basic burger and fries, if you wanted anything else, there’s an up-charge for literally everything else. You’re only getting a basic burger, regular fries (small portion), and a soda. Maybe chips and salsa but the chips looked horrible and thin so we didn’t bother even getting them.
I got the triple dipper and the chicken tenders were skinny and frail and didn’t have the look or the crunch you’d expect from the gimmick marketing. The sliders were pathetic looking. The egg rolls were much smaller and tasted like you’d make these from the freezer at home.
The waitresses and bartender were great and the beer is exactly what you’d expect. The vibe was filled with a lot of younger people, so I guess this is a decent spot for high school/college kids…but honestly, take your money and find family owned/local businesses that won’t leave you with bubble guts. Never going back, it’s all a corporate sham.
Massive disappointment and if you wanted to get bamboozled by overhyped social media...
Read moreFor a Friday night, incredibly quick seating and service-- and with really lovely friendly, personable and professional servers. We didn't just share a nice meal with each other, we heard about our table's server preferences in a way that felt personal and genuine. I modified a meal to make it vegetarian and even got compliments on how tasty my food looked! It was a little loud, but that isn't the fault of Chili's, it was a lot of people all trying to talk and hear over each other with every manner of sport on all the televisions. Really appreciated the extra salsa and chips to-go as we didn't really make use of the bottomless chips, our food arrived so quickly! Appetizers were served up hot and fresh, we got the bottomless chips and the fried mozzarella (holy cow they were huge slabs of fried gooey goodness!). The meal came out an appropriate amount of time after, also hot and fresh, and I asked for hot sauce and it was immediately retrieved in spite of how busy the whole room was! And dessert was too good, we had a few choices and went with the option with chocolate and peanut butter, and a Reese's peanut butter cup to top. As for accessibility, I didn't use the restroom so I don't know if that was convenient, but there is a cutout for the sidewalk at the handicap parking. Beware the drivers for pickup seemed to not have an issue blocking the handicap...
